How do I make a fan page via Facebook?
Hello,
I need to know how to set up a facebook page. I've tried google / youtube for tutorials, but they get a different result than I do.
They all go something like this:
1) Find a fan page and click on create page
2) Pick whatever, local business / Writer etc
3) Enter the name of the page will be called
4) Press Create page
5) Enter email
6) Enter captcha
7) Confirm email address
8) Start looking at fan page.
The problem I"m having is, I keep seeing the page below, instead of the one everyone else sees in the youtube videos etc.
They see a different page that looks like a fan page, that has their fan page name. They don't get asked to fill out their profile (first last name etc).
What am I doing wrong here?
Also, I don't want a profile connected to the fan page, I just want a stand alone fan page.

I'm also noticing that there is no more ' Become a Fan ' button... so... no more fan pages? It's 'Like pages' now?
