Feedback, please, on micro niche site

I'm trying to follow the advice of people who are successful with selling Amazon products on micro niche sites.

I have started this site which is in my signature. I chose the product/domain several months ago before I knew very much about how to judge competition. I finally decided that... oh well..I should try to do something with this since I paid for it and I already have hosting, and see what happens.

Before I proceed any further with more pages, I would appreciate any feedback letting me know if I'm on the right track here.

I would be thrilled to hear that now I just need to get traffic, but really do want honest opinions.

    I would talk about the problem that that your solution colves before talking about the solution.

    The writing was kinda dry, but at least you have started.

    Think and write from the perspective of the person you are trying to help and your
    content will be more engaging.

      Hi Catherine

      The look of your site is very good. When I clicked through the large horizontal banner returned irrelevant results which reduced the initial impact.

      Depending on how you are monetizing the site you might want to remove the top adsense block.

      BTW - Would one of these orthotic feet thing help someone with MS that has a very lazy leg/ankle?

    Agreed with @AaronSnider - tell me briefly about the problem then launch into the solution.

    Search for your keyterms and follow the links to the top 10 or 20 sites (your competition). See how THEY write things. DON'T steal their stuff, but look at their manner of writing, their verbiage, tone and what hot buttons they push.

    e.g. - Weight Loss stuff. Many sites will be full of hype - "easy, quick, take this one tablet and eat whatever you want". They will also push hot buttons - "Hey moms! Just can't lose that belly fat after your last child?" "Do you want to start summer with a body you're ashamed of?"

    Get the idea?
