How I get everything I want related to Internet Marketing for free.

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone else feels this way.

There are so many posts lately about how expensive it is to buy eBooks and systems and methods to make money.

Usually someone pops up and says "Don't buy anything," "You can find everything you need for free." Or, "Everything you need to make money is here on the Warrior Forum for free," ETC.

I've always been a big fan of spending a lot of money on IM products. Personally the most I've ever spent on any single product was $250. I've spent $100 on several different products and I can't count the $7 to $37 lot.

Anyway, in my mind everything I've ever purchased has been free because to me "no out of pocket" is the same as free.

What I mean by no out of pocket is that I earn the money via an Online Sale of some kind to buy the thing I want.

I'll never forget my first WSO purchase. It was back in the day when you could run a WSO for free.

I wanted that WSO so badly I could taste it, so I created my own WSO and immidiatly sold enough copies of it to buy the WSO I wanted.

That is what I've done ever since. Before I buy anything online I earn the money FIRST, always making several times the cost of the thing I want.

It feels free to me. Is it just a bent brain cell or does anyone else think this way.

That's a great way to learn though, by going through the process of creating your own product to buy another you want.

It also makes you appreciate what you are buying a lot more and actually take action on the advice offered within.

But then... not everyone thinks like you, not everyone buys WSO's to actually do work and not everyone appreciates all of the gold provided on this forum!

This is brilliant. That is exactly how I feel. Every now and then when I get a nice windfall in my Paypal account, I use that money to buy some tools for my business, be it a new course, software or domain names. You should invest all the money you make into things that can make you more money. Buying WSO's and ebooks could potentially have a huge impact on your business.

Great advice George, this will cause a favorable "domino" effect to happen, as you'll be encouraged and motivated to actually USE what you've bought to earn money to buy a new WSO or product! If this effect continues unabated, you'll become a raging internet marketing success that just leverages more and more (as time goes by) on your previous successes!

Excellent post. I have to believe that although there is a great deal of free info available, the paid stuff tends to be higher quality and better organized (or at least it should be!).

However I'm trying to only purchase things which are relevant to my goals and not just another "shiny" object. I've purchased several WSO's recently and for the money have been more than satisfied. Don't know about anyone else but I tend to trust the feedback I see here more than the "unbiased" reviews on some guru's sales page.

Yes the feeling is amazing, and is kinda free seeing as we don't have to "work" anymore for the money. I love it when it's time to renew a domain and my paypal is empty cause I don't want to draw from the bank. A day later I get a sale straight to my paypal where I can use it to renew etc.

So yes it is "free" to me but I do sometimes have to wait a few days or so to get it. No biggie.

    Forgot who said this but

    Excellent tip, George.

I wish I could remember who it was so I could give them the credit, but another Warrior, a few years ago, mentioned something similar. But instead of it being for digital products it was for physical goods.

For example, if you want a treadmill, start a site on treadmills and monetize it. You then agree that you won't buy the treadmill you want until you earn enough off of the treadmill site, and the treadmill site only.

The beauty of it is that the site keeps on earning long after you need it to (much like I'm guessing your first WSO made you way more than the initial amount you needed). And...it also forces you to keep doing new things, thereby increasing your streams of income.

Anyway, like I said...Great tip, George.

    All the best,

      Nice ideas Michael,

I've bartered for physical goods, however, never the way you state here (the tread mill) I like it.

        George, it works for me!

I have the attitude that it takes money to make money...it doesn't necessarily take a lot of money to make money but it does take some so I don't mind spending some.

I always keep aside some money to re-invest in the business in some way - whether it's to buy advertising, a course, a tool or to pay for one of my monthly expenses.

Ha, ha, I did that, once, when I wanted a Wii and the Wii Fit, and wanted to get a foolproof reason to purchase it.

So I digged up information about how to lose weight with a Wii Fit, wrote an article about it, and directed this article to a site, where I had some weight loss affiliate products.

I got my Wii the month after, and it's been one of my most read articles.

But funny enough, I didn't think about repeating this method. Thanks for reminding me. Now to get an iPad, the new iPhone 4 (I have an older model), a Kindle...

I suppose you can look at it that way but it's really shifting money earned as income to spending money from income. Like you can transfer the money you earn from your 9 to 5 to your mortgage company but I would consider my house "free". What you're really saying is that what you do is not work to you so spending it seems like it's free.
If I set up a 5 minute cpv campaign and make $5k over the month. I worked for it and spending it is not free to me ;-)

Yes, I do realize its a "mind game" it does "feel" free. Then again I spend what I call PlayPal money.

I tell you one thing, it sure leaves me with a better feeling when I spend a few hours to create a product and use some of the proceeds to buy products than I know I'd feel about spending hours even days surfing for freebies.

It's sort of my answer to the "you can get everything for free" crowd. I spend less time, have fun creating and get some goodies in the process.

There are all kinds of benefits to buying products besides the acquisition of the product. But, that's another topic altogether.

I think it's a really good way to get started and force yourself to take action ... either by creating, working as an affiliate or providing a service.

When you've broke that buy, study, buy, study cycle and start taking action I think it's hard to go back.

I try to do this in everything I do, it is false economy to buy something first and then worry about having to make that money up or worse, not even have any way to make it in the first place.

Even if it takes me two or three years to finally get to a point where I can afford better toys I will build up the base first, then start buying stuff with profits.

And yes, I do this all the time where I can and always have....it is the difference between getting richer and always chasing the next pretty shiny bauble, if you have already made the money and can reward yourself with a purchase you don't miss it as much.

Nice tip, George. Everything I buy online (and that's a lot) is paid for by what I earn online. It's been this way from day one for me. I even bartered for my first hosting account and never looked back.

Actually, almost everything I buy offline is paid for the same way. The exception is the money earned from book royalties, which mostly has gone to pay off the mortgage early.

Great post. That's how many of us were brought up - you can't have something until you can afford to pay for it. Shame governments do not see things that way.

I personally rather and enjoy investing money out of my own pocket when it comes to my Internet Marketing education. I value the training more since I spent my own money on it and I take more massive determined action as opposed to receiving that information for free.

When you receive something for free, you don't value it in any way and you are more like not to take action on this new information compared to if you spent money on it.
