What do you think of Quantcast?

Hey gang, wondering what you guys think of Quantcast's reliability for traffic stats when comparing your site to others..

In your experience has it been spot-on or totally off?

    Quantcast ?
    I use it to know the demographic of niches.
    Besides, it really helpful if you want to advertise on a website.
    Let say, you want to advertise on my site, what you can do is,
    go to Quantcast, and see what is my demographic.

    Unfortunately, Quancast is not indexing all the websites. It just
    good for old websites. I have a website with 3 year age but no info
    on Quantcast.

    The demographics seem to be ok from there, and I generally trust them.. but comparing sites on Quantcast and Alexa produce very different results.

    I know Alexa depends on the toolbar, which not many people use anymore.. could Quantcast be more reliable than Alexa?

      In my opinion, for Demographic, Quantcast is the best.
      For traffic, I believe on Alexa.

      But yet, please be reminded that Alexa traffic rank can be tweaked, someone buy traffics and their site will have good Alexa rank. If this happen, use your common sense, see the site traffic ranks. If the traffic has sudden increase then you would know it most probably buy traffics.
