How Much Traffic Do You Get From Your Article Writing?

Hello thanks for coming in ;-)))

I would like to ask you how much traffic by statistic do you get from 100 written articles, in general?

Reason I am asking is because first of all I think its interesting for everybody to know what to expect from article marketing, especially for newbies.

And reason number two I want to know myself how much traffic to expect after I will buy 100 unique articles myself.

Also you can share here best article resource you think is actually the best one ;-).

Thanks.

There will be a huge variance in response here dependent upon what people are doing. If the keyword research is done correctly, and the backlinks of your competitors are analyzed and attacked properly, you can see quite a few views just from one article.

If you buy 100 unique articles yourself, make sure you have done the appropriate keyword research before hand.

Thanks. By the way how do you do your keyword research if that is not a secret of course ;-) ? I usually search for keywords that are phrase match low competing, the less competitive the better. And those that has more than 3000 searches per month in Google of course. Any other great ideas, sujestions?

All I do is use articles for my marketing and from the articles I get between 12,000 and 15,000 UV monthly... the added benefit of articles marketing is that it builds backlinks so my organic traffic is much better than direct from articles.

    top ten I would say:

    ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, articledashboard.com, articlesbase.com, articlealley.com, articleclick.com, amazines.com, articlecity.com, articlesnatch.com, ideamarketers.com

I didn't inclue buzzle.com and isnare.com cause they require 500 words and I only do 400 words LOL

  • I did a test with one of my sites, with 50 articles (very high quality) submitted to the 100's of directories (include ezine articles). My results are basically about ~50 vistors per day, or ~3000 unique visitors per month. Wasn't quite the results I was expecting, but better than nothing. I found ezinearticles actually seem to give the lions share of that (about 40-50%).

    Well,

    I have about 250 articles.

Some days I get 10 visitors and some days I will get 20. I also have days where I get 0 visitors so I must say that article marketing is just a very very small part of my goal to bring in xxx amount of visitors to my site per day.

I don't give this marketing technique too much time.

I have been pumping out articles, then stumbled across Market Samurai and discovered I have been doing very poor keyword research. The tutorial videos on the Market Samurai support page are fantastic for someone just getting into articles. I think my articles will be a lot more effective now!

For the 100 unique article you're going to get are you writing that yourself or are you planning to outsource it? If you outsource how much you gonn pay for each article and are you going to submit them yourself too? If your sole purpose is just to drive traffic to your landing page with these articles then I would just submit to top 10 directories but if it's for backlinks to get your site to rank higher than I'll submit to top 10 and everywhere else with UAW, seolink vine etc..

OMG I just got to 100 articles today on Ezine and then stumbled upon this post lol. But first of all I’d have to say that it depends where you submitted those 100 articles, and the quality of them amongst things. It’s quite a broad question to ask. So far I have approximately 2,000 article views total. Amongst the strategies I’m using for Ezine is for people to get curious about my OTHER articles based on the ones they already read. So they might click my name and see the other ones listed and hopefully stumble upon the ones with backlinks. That’s a PORTION of the plan too.

Question on the keywords....Im writing and outsourcing my own articles. But I try to use words that could get found in search.

Case#1 Lets say my article is on Bass Fishing (only an example) So what I do is make sure the article has the words "bass fishing" in it and also all the words around it like Lures, Lines, Fishing Pole etc. So if I have the word bass fishing used say 10 times in a 300 word article does this hurt it? or help it?

From what im seeing if the word is used somehwere in the article I take it thats the words I want to be searched out. OR are you guys speaking mainly on just the title?

Perhaps a more important question, is what is the overall return on investment for your article marketing efforts?

What types of conversion are you getting from your article marketing efforts? (either list optins/signups or sales?)
