Offline Sales Funnel Strategies, please share...

Hi,

I wanted to start a thread and ask our expert panel of offline marketers based on your experience. What is the best strategies to convert traffic for local clients.

Real Life Examples are definitely welcome. This will really help us who are new to the offline world. Since online we usually send them to a squeeze page and offer some reciprocity and then a backend offer. But for offline marketing, are there other strategies to convert leads when people drop into client sites through the traffic efforts you provide.

    I think you have started a good topic here. I started my career as an Offline Consultant 3 years back and what I always recommend to every one who wants to start offline marketing are the following three points:

    1. Make a genuine effort to know your customer's needs.
    2. Once you understand his needs, show him few options what you can do. The offline clients are not internet savvy in many a case and they want to see what you are going to do for them. Put yourself in their shoes and help them!
    3. Train them if required so that they learn to be independant to maintain their own website or blog.

    Last but not the least, offer them more value to their money and make them successfuly by offering a really good solution,

      Thanks Jay for that awesome input. How about from the other side for them, what type of Sales Funnel would you recommend to help them convert their traffic into sales. Or do you just setup an email collection system with a freebie and then help them marketing after thru email marketing.

      The main goal and idea is I'm trying to generate ideas on what to offer clients as far as offline sales funnel strategy to really maximize the effort and really quantify the traffic we bring them. Since on another thread, the key was to really provide value based pricing, and so there was a good point that was raised where the more value we can provide the more we can price our offers. And so by really coming up with a good process to share with them or implement with them to really close those traffic and show them, "look I got 3 clients for you this month" etc..
