How Much of Clickbank is Too Much?

I get emails almost daily from a British "guru" touting the latest, greatest thing since sliced bread that "ya gotta get or ya gonna die broke!" Surprisingly his own product is one of the best investments of all the many, many thousands of American dollars I've made. Why then does he dilute his own credibility with this insane avalanche of Clickbank offers? Is it because he is having a $244,555 Lamborghini delivered Monday? Or is he having a $244,555 Lamborghini delivered Monday because of the tsunami of offers he floods my email box with?

Sorry about the British reference. This was originally in response to a post regarding someone with a "British accent" who was touting a Clickbank product that wouldn't work across the pond. Further, every product he promotes, including his own, is a Clickbank product. Remarkable - to me at least - that he can afford a luxury automobile promoting these type of affiliate products.

You can never have too much clickbank trampart, LOL! But if you feel you are being spammed then like Owen Smith said "unsubscribe".

Remember that to him you are on a list that in his/her mind may all be "noobs" to internet marketing. And he is trying to sell to each and everyone of them. Some people maybe just getting into this like we all did.

Not only am I on his list, but I am on his "buyers" list so all the more pressure to buy, buy, buy again.

You know what, if it were me I would send him a PM on his blog or however you can contact him. And ask him if he is on the WF, just to see if he is in here. Then you can get a better feel for how he operates and decide if he is just "crap pushing" or the real McCoy. If he is crap pushing then...T-minus 5.4.3.2.1 UNSUBSCRIBE!

Good advice. As for "crap pushing" (or dung dragging or whatever), I bought his product on the advice of a "guru" I highly respect. And it is phenomenal material. I also bought one of the products he promoted (albeit through my own link). So, perhaps I should shut up and wait to see the video of his new Lamborghini. He must be doing something right. I'm driving a 1989 Buick Regal after all, and I'm not planning to do a video on it.

AHA! Maybe you SHOULD do a video of it, and you current situation. THEN when you do become successful, you will have the awesome "before" portion for a two-part before and after type of video.

You would definitely stand out, and nobody would have to see it until the time was right.

      I think it's agreat idea!

      All the best,

    Hi Tramp_Art,

You may want to take a step back and ask yourself what you can learn from his methods.

First, are you 100% positive he's getting that car delivered "Monday"? Here's one way you may be able to check. If it is a message from an autoresponder, then you are probably getting the next message in the series, of course it could be a broadcssdt message. The only to know for sure would be to subscribe again and see if you get the same message, in the same part of the sequence. If he just said "Monday" and not "Monday, September 6th, 2010" then my guess is you're being suckered.

Second, you can either decide to stay on his list and ACCEPT the junk, or you can unsubscribe. HOWEVER, if you CHOOSE to STAY subscribed for ANY reason, then you don't have any grounds for complaining, IMHO.

Third, if he is legit, then pay attention and learn the marketing lessons he is unwittingly providing to you. Make the most of the messages you don't care for.

    All the best,
    Michael

p.s. So what if he's getting anew car? LOL
