What would you do at this point?

Ok, I recently bought this site Stop Blushing ..... Start Living - How to Prevent and Cure your Embarrasing Blushing Problem and it's making a sale or two a day. I do want some more affiliates as this is a great route, but I was thinking should I pony up the money for an SEO service to get me first page ranking for the keyword stop blushing? What would you do? Any alternatives that you have?

    personally, I would not pay for SEO service. But, that's because I am pretty good when it comes to SEO myself. I know most of the SEO services out there charge an arm and a leg and are way overpriced.

    But to answer your question more specifically, I would concentrate on recruiting affiliates.

    One way you can do that is get your product listed into an affiliate marketplace like Pay Dot Com or clickbank.

      If your product is already on ClickBank I would suggest concentrating on recruiting affiliates.

      You can do that in a couple of different ways. One, is by going out and actively contacting affiliates in your market.

      Plus, you need to concentrate on making it easy for affiliates to promote your product. You can do that by creating an affiliate tools page with plug-and-play tools for your affiliates.

      Create things like banner ads, text ads, e-mail ads, articles, tweets and Facebook updates.

      The easier you can make it on your affiliate to promote the more people will promote.

      Read up on SEO and do it yourself. Stop blushing isn´t that competetive so you should be able to do it yourself quite easily if you put some time into it.

    Anybody ever try something like this Affiliate Recruitment | Recruiting Service By AffiliateBuddy.net Don't have too much time in the day to recruit affiliates with college and a baseball team. Also they seem like they would be better then me in recruiting, worth it? Not Worth it?

      I wouldn't use that. You need to put in some of your own time here to get the ball rolling. Search for websites related to your product and contact users and see if they would be interested in placing banners or links. Make sure you have an affiliate resource page and some good resources, make the commissions as attractive as possible and you'll attract more affiliates.

    SEO sounds like really hard work, but if you are in a market that isn't competitive you can get away with doing it yourself, just pick up a cheap, quality WSO on SEO in the WSO section. I'm sure there are loads!

    I reckon you could implement some methods easily and it would save you a bundle!

    You can also JV with people with large lists that cater to your target market. Give them a review copy and even give the a copy or two to give away in a contest if they are interested: that would create some buzz about your product.
