Keyword search volume on google????

Am i right in assuming that if you search for a phrase on google and ppc ads show up at the top and the side and even some google shopping results show up, does that mean that phrase is getting search traffic..

Im doing keyword research for a niche site of mine,, With wordstream I found a 8 word longtail keyword.. i put it in micro niche finder, no results,.. semrush.com.. no results.. spyfu.com no results.. but lastly i went to ispionage.com it showed 49500 search results for google everymonth.. the number one page is a amazon page with a page rank of 4.. the product has 880 cutomer reviews.. ???????

Could this be a golden keyword,, do i just need to try and rank to see if traffic is really there.. or is there another way to find out... I mean usualy when i type in a longtail keyword that gets under 1k searches a month, there are no ppc ads or shopping results..??? Ok now im talking too much?? any insights would be helpful.

Whether PPC ads show or not has no relation to whether it's a buying keyword phrase.

A LOT of people don't properly control their Adwords campaigns and have their ads showing for unrelated search terms because they've left their keywords too broad. They just think it doesn't matter if it shows up if people aren't clicking it doesn't cost them anything.

So - as you know - an ad showing up costs nothing - so it's definitely not an indicator that there are buyers.
