How to stop my blog posts from appearing on facebook?

When I first started my blog, I somehow linked my blog to face book, so every time I post, it would show up on facebook as well. What I didn't know at the time was that I didn't want to do that with that facebook count. And since I dont check my facebook too often, I totally forgot about it.

And at that time I was so new that I tried anything that was supposed be good for traffic generation and everything else that goes with blogging.

The other day when I logged in, I noticed that all of my blog posts are showing there as well. So, i want to disable it. But, the problem is I dont remember what method I use to link the blog to facebook. I know I didn't use the facebook setting (note) to do this linking.

Is there any way to disable this thing from facebook?

I know, I am sorry its a crazy question that doesn't make sense to some extend. But, i really really want to not have these posts show up on that account and I dont want to delete that facebook account either.

Is there any tool or plugin you guys use that links your blog to facebook? I ask this, because If I read the name of the app, I might remember which one I used so I can disable it from there.
Thank you guy in advance.

Satrap, you might try logging into your blog admin and checking the plugins. I'm guessing you have a plugin installed that does it automatically for you. I think WP-FacebookConnect is one plugin that will do that, but there are probably others. If you find it, just disable the plugin and you're good to go.

Thanks dennis. I checked it already and I know I dont have any plugins like that.

However, I think I found it. I use onlywhire to bookmark to a whole bunch of social networking sites, and facebook is one of the. I think that's it. I just bookmark a post as a test and now waiting to see if it will show up on facebook. If it does, I will disable the facebook bookmarks on onlywhire.

Any way, thank you again Dennis. Helpful like always.

Satrap, unknowingly you might have joined certain service which pulls your blog post to Facebook. I knowingly using Networkedblogplaces service at my Facebook profile. Please check if you have joined like this service. Then you can unsubsicribe it.

Thank you bhagwat68. I found the problem. It was exactly like the situation you are describing. I was using onlywhire to bookmark to bookmarking sites each time I post a new article. And facebook was one of them. I have canceled that now. Thank you both for helping out.
