I have researched autoblogging and I'm not ready for it yet. I do need some ideas for my niches. Is there a way to keep up with news of what is happening in those niches on the web, newspapers etc.? As I said autoblogging is too techie for me at present. I need some quick way of keeping up to date with my niches.
Can anybody suggest a quick way of doing this? It doesn't matter how basic. I'm a non-techie so it will be new to me lol

WSO: I PROMISE/GUARANTEE you that this will be the LAST WSO you will ever need to purchase!

Here's the thing. The above may seem too good to be true but all I can say is there isn't even 1% hype or BS in the above sentence. This WILL BE YOUR LAST WSO to purchase.

In addition to news related sites (although they would probably be your best bet) find the most popular blogs in your niche and sign up to their RSS feed. Just like the news related sites, every time they make a post, you'll know about it.

And if you're in a niche where there can be "days" when there's no news, you can always look in archives, books, magazines, etc, to help you come up with topics.

I think most people have the wrong view of autoblogging. My view on autoblogging is not that it is a stand alone concept, but an enhancement to your own unique content. If used correctly, it can bring value to your visitors. For instance, if you have a blog about XYZ, then you will write original articles about XYZ and place them on your blog. Then, using an autoblogging configuration, you will also post links and excerpts to similar articles that you think your visitors will appreciate giving the party you are linking to full credit of course in a similar way that Google feeds syndicated news. Yes, ultimately this is a leak from your site to theirs, but it also can help establish your site as an emporium of niche information.

Personally, I don't do this because I do not want the leaks.

  • You can also just do a Google seach for your niche keywords, and select 'Last 24 Hours' in the options down the left hand side of the page. That will help if you're just looking for ideas and to see recent changes to other sites in the niche.

The best way to keep updated in your niche is to regularly check out the article directories for any new articles which present new angles and new concepts regarding your niche topic.

Other way is to create a Google Alert system by adding your specific niche keywords. This way you will get latest blog posts, news articles and forum posts related to your niche exactly when they goes live on the Internet.

These two methods are what I use regularly to keep myself updated all the time related to my niches.
