Inquiry About Backlinks

I'm a newbie when it comes to backlinking topics and after doing a bit of research, I came to understand that backlinking process is essential when it comes to wanting to rank high in the search engines.
But I came a few topics while reading up some threads about backlinking in which some people did mention the term 'IP diversity' when it comes to building your backlinks. They also mentioned about certain 'c class webhosting' which I don't quite understand. Here are my inquiries :
1) What is the difference between a normal hosting (e.g a normal account hosting with Hostgator) and 'c class webhosting'?
2) When should you use this 'c class webhosting'?
3) What has 'c class webhosting' got anything to do with backlinking process?
4) 'IP diversity is essential' when it comes to building your own 'blogging network' if you intend to index your backlinks within the shortest period of time possible. How true is this?
5) Creating your own 'blogging network' for the purpose of indexing all the backlinks you've created, how important is this process? Is it optional or is it something that should not be ignored and overlooked?
6) Some people agree that building links manually is better than automation while others don't and in my opinion, there is no right or wrong answer to both parties (please correct me if I'm wrong about my opinion, I'm still a newbie
).
For what I think, if you have one or two blogs that is giving you a monthly income of $50,000 and above and you're satisfied with it, then building links manually to your blogs wouldn't be a problem but if you intend to have more blogs, manual process can be very tedious which is when automation can become a useful asset.
I then did a search about automation process and I did came across a few programs. But not all programs are compatible with the kind of packages that are available out there or certain backlinking process of your own. I did a little more search and I came acorss Winautomation and Ubot Studio.
These 2 programs are highly recommended but which of the two do you think would be more efficient when it comes to automate your backlinking process?
7) Apart from Winautomation and Ubot, any other programs you guys highly recommend for automation purposes in terms of backlinking process? Preferably not too costly though :p
I love learning new stuff and please share some of your thoughts as I'm still a newbie in this backlinking field. Thanks guys
