Can Google Places be edited?

Hey guys,

I am going to put up a friend of mine in Google Places, but, don't have a complete listing yet. There are 7 people up there for this keyword, but, so far, it hasn't been optimized.

If I put his listing up there, can I go back later and change it (not the address or phone number, but, just the other info - information, sample pages, etc.)

    Yes you can go in & edit your Google Places listing anytime.....you may need to re-verify depending on the edits made, but sure, you can edit your business description, catgories, add / change photo's, video's, coupons, etc...

    Yes- definitely. First up you have to go through the 'claim' process where they send a PIN to the physical address of the business. Once that process is started you have an extra link in your Google account that takes you to the business settings. You won't be able to edit them until after you've submitted the PIN though.
