Hi Warriors,
I'm after an audio version of YouTube - a site that allows people to record audio and then gives them a link to share it.

I know there's a subscription service called Audio Generator but that's $30 a month - surely there's something out there for free or considerably cheaper...

  Try AudioAcrobat.com: Audio for everyone!
  Its a subscription, too but only about $20 per month with lots of features. I've used it for years, like it a lot.
