A sneaky way to exploit lucrative niches - without going crazy

During my niche research I have discovered many lucrative niches the problem is I have no interest in most of them and it would drive me crazy, to write realms of content for them.

Something I do have an interest is is NLP so here's my plan.

I have 2 friends, 1 who is desperate to lose weight and the other who is desperate to stop smoking. I have agreed to adapt some NLP techniques to help both of them and work with on their problems.

Should I succeed in helping them I will turn the results into 2 ebooks. This will give me 2 unique products with a nice personal interest twist in two lucrative desperate markets.

Because of the NLP angle I won't go crazy in the process what do you think is this a good method of product creation.

Ah ... you should 'begin with the end in mind my friend'. First, think about what your finished product looks like. Then you will know whether you should fire up Word and get writing or fire up your video-recording software or whatever else you have in the way of product -creation tools.

    And good luck.

The niche that we are interested might not make good money. Sometimes we need to try to study the niche that we don't know. Why? It's simple that because those niches will make more money. We should try to push our limit and reach out for the unknowns.

It is not always necessary to enjoy the niche you pick, but it is important to know whether there is a market ready to buy products in that niche...

My methodology here's to make an uninteresting more by combining it with something I am interested.

Having never smoked I have no interest in this niche but I am interested in NLP and I know I can maintain my enthusiasm if I take the approach of writing a NLP book for smokers.

Will I quite agree about starting with the end in mind I have already done a rough list of unique points and a very rough sale letter to shape my product around.

Making money while actually helping your friends.. I think that's the attitude
that we all should have rather than trying to make money just for the sake
    of it...

      Tomwood,

I think that's a brilliant idea and one that more people should keep in mind. Find a way to make the niches work for you.
