Anyone used WP Article Fetch?

Yes I have used it and yes it does work. It actually seemed to work better than many of the other free plugins I tried from the Wordpress plugin directory. In fact it was the only one that I successfully installed and got working straight away.

I also very neatly inserts images into the posts.

I did stop using it though as I noticed a very high processor usage on the server - even with only one blog running. I eventually turned it off as I could see myself getting complaints from the shared hosting supplier. I was posting 5 posts a day.

One issue I did have was that I had left the default category in Wordpress as "uncatogorized" believing it would not be included in the article fetching. In fact it kept pulling "uncatorgorized" articles (and hence off topic articles) into the blog. Even when I renamed it to a relevant category and even removed it from the fetch category list it still continued to pull irrelevant articles into the blog. So make sure you change the category name to a relevant one and include it in the fetch list up front.

I'll pm you the site so you can see. It's not auto blogging now but you can see how it looks.

Yes, the file WP-Article-Fetch/afe_url.php is strange at best. Full of mixup code... Kind of freaking me out. I wouldn't use this on a site you have your heart into.

If anyone wants to see the code ask me about it. I would assume that's why Tony had a lot of processor usage. Someything's going on.

Works for a day or two and quits/ Bad news
