What's wrong with my niche blog

The blog is coffeefiltercup.net targeting "filter cup". Search volume at least 50,000 per month. It's in top 10 of Google but the traffic sucks. Only 50 traffic per month. Anyone knows what's wrong?

    Google only shows 12,100 searches for that phrase. Plus you are below the images. The top 4-5 results are where the money is

    I'm not sure what tools you are using but according to my sources, "Filter Cup" has almost no daily search traffic which would explain your problem.

    Take a look at your analytics and see what search terms are leading people to your site, my guess is it's not "Filter Cup" but rather random long-tail searches that contain those words.

    Yes, sure. For this kind of keyword if you will not get NO. 1 spot in Goolge, you can forget about traffic. For high traffic keywords - with search volume around 200 000 or more, the last spot will get only 2000 visits not more. You need to target more keywords and to get #1 spot in Google.

    I am no authority but when I do a broad match in GKT old interface it comes up with 74,000 and exact is 170. With the new interface it says 12,100 for broad and 210 for exact.

    The other thing is that filter cup is pretty broad in definition. Results vary from vacuum filters, water filters tea filters, coffee filter, etc. So maybe that is why.

    Also I only see one paid advertisement for that term, which usually means there is not much $ to be made in it, otherwise, there would be more.

    Maybe add a longer description to your site. You only have 1 line and others have 2. I've read that the description is the most looked at part of your listing.. worth a shot
