200 Articles = £33.6 Per Week?

Ok well basically this is my first post here, hello all. I would just like to say i really want to be making around £40-60 a week when i go to university. Since i mainly article market i would like the knowledgeable people on this forum to tell me if my statistics are in fact correct.
Here goes -
Commission - £6
200 hits (1 hit per day per article)
Click through onto affiliate link - 40%
Conversion rate - 1%
-----------------------------------------
560 Clicks per week * 0.01 = 5.6 *6 = £33.6

Now i realise i will get traffic from other sources and that should bring it very close to £40 but what i want to know is.... is that a good assumption and realistic of much effort i need to put into my business. All figures should be near enough as im judging it off my current article marketing campaign using ezines.
I am a victim of the google dance atm so am just basing my figures off article marketing.
What do you guys think?

    Hi Tedwood

Welcome to what is a superb & informative forum. I agree with your expected hits & conversion rate, but your click through is a bit excessive & should be more around the 20% mark & your commission for what you are promoting is a bit low & should be at least double that per sale. With

Hi shmeeko69 thanks for your reply. Currently im promoting products through commission junction. I know you guys specialise in clickbank and other digital products but mine is a physical product. I have noticed some days my click through is poor and some days its fantastic, it just depends but i will agree i guess 40% is quite high.
Overall do you think its quite a good estimation of what's possible?

By the way, just my personal experience - physical products tend to be easier to sell (better conversion rates) if you write a good review, compared to conversion rates of digital products.

Thanks for your insight, i will have to see over the next couple of months as Google puts me back into proper ranking position and i have more articles.
Im sure they will convert well because i have spent time to write the reviews, with pictures and sometimes a star rating.
