Real Targeted Visitors = Sales - No questions asked.

I want to make a post about some traffic stats that I've gathered over the years...

The more traffic you get, the more sales you make (obviously)... But recently I've been surprised to see that I've had 200 visitors a day coming to my sites and only making a sale every 2 or 3 days for $50 each...

Now, at first you think, darn. That conversion sucks, right? 400-600 visitors for a sale? That's crazy... But when I look closer into my traffic stats I realize that AFFILIATES are driving a lot of the traffic for me, meaning I can't really control where they are coming from...

And I look at all the sites they are using, and it's just not relevant, thus killing MY conversions...

On the other hand, when I personally drive traffic (seperate pages), I'm converting 2-3% meaning ever 30-50 visitor I'm making a sale...

Affiliates are buying traffic from like "Superhitsblablabla" trying to make a sale for my product, and they are "surfers for cash" or "paid to surf"... That traffic just won't convert, maybe like 1 in 2,5000

So I was thinking that it's a mess, and I need at least like 300-400 visitors to get this site to be a $10,000 a month site... that's fair to believe.

That would require, smarter affiliates (promoting legit) or me driving more traffic myself...

I've started to disregard my other stats, and look at how much traffic I'm Personally able to bring to my sites, and using that info I'm converting well...

The point is, you need to know that you are getting GOOD legit traffic to count your conversions.

Do some PPC to KNOW these stats! Get 300 visitors from articles or video and see what your conversions are... cause I have other sites where I'm sending 300 visitors a month and making 6-7 sales a month, from a few YouTube videos..

It's all about how you position your products BEFORE they get to your site!

I've had 27% conversions for some offers...

So do not be mad if you think your product isn't converting, there are always stuff you can do to change it up and increase conversions.

And when you think you reach your peak... Maybe it's $200 a month (4 $50 sales), move on to the next project and to 10 of them! It's just the same repetitive steps you just made, but for something new..

I don't know why people always want to make like $50,000 a month from 1 site, when they can EASILY pay $200 for a site that makes $200 or more PER MONTH in revenue and then upsell leads for coaching, mentoring or whatever else...

Nice post, just discovering Youtube traffic can be very good because if you send it to the right site it's really on target.

Hi Chris, do u offer tools and traffic guides for your affiliates? Maybe if you nudge them in the right direction your affiliates will be more than happy to direct quality traffic for you.

When sales are pouring in everyone's happy right? =)
