How to Track ClickBank/Aff. Sales from Aweber Subscribers?

How would you go about tracking which of your aweber subscribers purchased a clickbank/affiliate product?

Just can't figure that out (perhaps it too late in the day?)....

Link to a tracking script on your own server that forwards to the CB sales page. The tracking script can do whatever you want.

Well would something have to be on the merchant's thank you page in order to be able to verify the sale?

What I am saying is that I want to find out which of my subscribers actually buys the product I'm an affiliate for.

      Tx

Ahh. For this, you would usually use a bonus - "forward me your receipt for the product, and I send you this additional ebook." This could probably be automated.

CBListAutomator does this. It automates the delivery of clickbank bonuses, verifies if the payment was made (prior to sending out the bonus), and adds the buyer to your list. I believe the creator is also a warrior. I've never used the product but it's been on my radar for a while. I may purchase in the future.

Clickbank allows you to do this as an AFFILIATE or as a MERCHANT? (I'm talking about products I'm an affiliate for).

If so, I guess you're saying I'd have to manually move subscribers over to the buyers list, right?

I setup redirects on some landing pages so I can track hits and definitely on order forms.

If you link in an ebook for example direct to a merchant and you change merchants you're screwed. Thus using a redirect helps you maintain control.

Tx - I actually thought about that but then I said "well not everyone who clicks on the order form will buy...."

I guess someone who's clicked on an order form (even if they abandoned the shopping process) is closer to being a buyer than someone else...)

Yeah I'm a n00b to clickbank....I guess we're all n00bs in some way or another!

Another way to do it is to offer a freebie when someone buys but they have to opt-in again (to your buyer list) to get it. Still involves manually removing them from your original list though.

AWeber allows you to set an automation rule that when someone subscribes to one list, they're automatically unsubscribed from another.

CB tracking is really impressive. One simple way you could do it is to just get a CB tracking id like AW for aweber and your stats will give you all the info on that, like clicks and sales.
