Who's got a wallet full of cash and can proove it!!

Hey all,

Can anyone help me here?

I am looking for someone to scan the front and back of several denomination of US bank notes. We find that on minisites a popular request is for money, if we had the scanned images we could create the notes in 3D, especially a $100 bill

Anyone got a wallet full of cash and is willing to proove it?

Thanks

Darren

    I have

    But not dollars...

I'll buy those 3d notes when they're done if you make them available.

    Darren -

Just be sure you stay on the right side of Treasury regs on that one!
Exact copies are very, very illegal - they prosecute no matter where you live!

      Hi Melody,

from my understanding, if the copy is shown face-on, then it is illegal unless "SAMPLE" is written across it. If it is curved or skewed, it is my understanding that it is allowable.

I'm going to see if I can find where I read this again.

      Kindest regards,
      Karl.

So... straight money is illegal, but bent money isn't? Unusual

I've always thought replicated US bills were illegal too :-/

I'd have liked to have taken a newly created stash of fake ten pence pieces into the bank tomorrow too, but filing the corners off of these fifty pence pieces is taking forever.

Those rules for US currency are for printed copies, not displays on a screen. Think about it. They are not too worried about someone taking their monitor to a bank and passing off your graphic as real money.
