Domain name sales/escrow service

Hi folks,

Hope you can help with this. Have searched all over and can't find someone with this service... Hopefully, it's not staring me right in my face!

Am looking for a domain escrow/sales service that will provide Buy Now and Make Offer links (maybe even sales graphics) that I can place on the domain that I am selling.

Does that make sense? Here is a more detailed explanation of what I am looking for:

List domains with service:
Generate and copy links:
Place links on self hosted domain/site:
Buyer follows links to service:
Buyer purchases domain or makes offer:
Seller accepts offer or transaction:
Escrow process initiated by service:

I thought sure that Sedo.com would have something like this. Won't be surprised if they do and I just missed it.

Thanks for your help!!

chris

You're exactly right, Sedo does offer exactly what you're looking for.

Listing is free. You can set a Buy Now price and a Minimum Offer price. If you set ONLY a Buy Now price (fixed price listing), the Sedo commission is a flat 10% if you park the domain with them. If you don't park or choose to go with a negotiated price (Buy Now/Minimum Offer), then the commission is 10% with a $50 minimum.

Once a sale is made, Sedo will first get the payment from the buyer. Then it will ask you to push the domain to their account (they most likely have an account with whatever registrar you're using). After that has been done, they will credit your account with the sale price minus the commissions. It may take a few weeks to actually get paid, depending on the timing of the sale, but they WILL pay you. There is no charge for the escrow service.

Thanks Rob!!! I'll go back and review it all again.

Does Sedo also provide the sales tools (links and graphics)?

        You're welcome.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "sales tools"... you mean like banners and stuff from an affiliate program? If so, then the answer is no, not to my knowledge.

It might be... that I was just too tired last night, when I sat daown to research this. I have a number of sites listed with Sedo but not parked there. I can't find a "page" that presents those websites for sale.... A link of some sort that initiates the buying process.

That's all that I was really looking for. Don't get me wrong.... a whole suite of affiliate-like tools would be great.... but I can handle that myself, if I could just figure out how to get someone to a sales page of some sort.

          Thanks again!
          chris
