Hi, Is it better to submit the same article to multiple article directories or should I change it a little bit for each submission? Are there any penalties for a website that gets backlinks from pages containing similar content?

Hi Virklink,

Small and quick submission plan;

1. Put it on Ezinearticles first.
2. Rewrite the article to at least 40 % of former content.
3. Get it on articlesbase and goarticles after verification from Ezinearticles.

This will build backlinks to your page and get your traffic started.

Although there are not any penalties for a website that gets backlinks from pages containing similar content. But you should not submit so many similar articles as it has no meaning. Change is better.

If you are just submitting to build backlinks then I don't think it's a problem to submit the same article to different directories.

I usually add an article to my website, then rewrite the article and submit it to a number of directories. I don't believe that there are penalties for receiving backlinks from the same article on different sites.

Some of the article i submit, is the same article to multiple article directories (in hundereds) and sometimes i spin the article and then submit to the aritcle directory.

Basically it is for you to decide whether to spin it or not.

Regarding penalties and duplicate content, there are lots of thread on this forum, go through it.
