Looking To Make My First Dollar!

We all have to start somewhere...

Assume I know nothing about marketing, blogging, or any of that stuff (which is partially true).

What would you Warriors recommend?

You will soon know a lot if you hang around here for a while.....but knowing is one thing. Doing is another.

    My best to you.

Hey all, thanks for the replies!

Been browsing the forums for some hours now, but as a newbie all this information is way too much for me to digest. All the jargon is making my head spin, but I have finally made some progress and am proud I finally know what CPA stands for Would be great if the forum had a newbie section...

Writing articles is probably where I should start given I don't have to invest in anything (I don't have the money anyway). Have just created a profile at oDesk as a freelancer, but with thousands of competitors, limited number of job applications (I am limited to 10 per week) and no experience under my belt, this is going to be a tough hill to climb

What do you want to do?

Do you want to make your own products and sell them to other people?

Do you want to help other people sell their products?

Do you want to write a blog that attracts advertising dollars?

    Something else?

You won't make any money doing something you don't like doing, cause you will give up. So what do you envision yourself doing, creating, selling, blogging or something else?

I could do the selling I suppose. There are tons of bloggers out there, my writing isn't superb.

I love Ed dale and the old 30 day challenge, just because it's got so many cool ideas, and it walks you through step by step...

He's got the new version which I haven't go through yet here:

        The Challenge

And of course spend your time reading and learning here at the WF!

Here's the thing. The above may seem too good to be true but all I can say is there isn't even 1% hype or BS in the above sentence. This WILL BE YOUR LAST WSO to purchase.

Get a game plan and stick to it! Master one income stream before moving onto the next. Do not ditch an idea after a few days. Develop it for a few months and then if it does not work for you, bin it.

Absorb as much free info that is given on the WF!

    Regards

    Nigel

Definitely read this forum.. there's SOOOOOO much info in here and you'll learn a LOT! When I first got into this industry I read almost every thread and learned so much. Soak up info like a sponge, research and get comfortable with it.. but like jlucado said.. taking action is key.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great!

Online money making is done through either

    -selling your own products or
    -other people's products
    (mainly)

To start I recommend selling other peoples products to get your feet wet and understand how selling online works. You can do that by going to clickbank.com and look at the marketplace, what products are available to be sold. This last option is called affiliate marketing.

Once you start understanding what people are looking for and you develop certain skills to sell then you can come up with your own product and make serious money.

Don't forget the first dollar is the hardest to make then afterwards its just momentum!!

    good luck
