ebook sellers -- Why do you NOT use clickbank?

Curious to see reasons from those who chose to not sell their ebook on clickbank and went another route...

    For some, clickbanks transaction fees are much higher then they could get from a merchant account or other source.

    There are also several topics that are no long allowed on Clickbank like list building.

      I already dominate the SERPs for my main Ebook campaign, in addition I am 110% sure that NO ONE has a list for my obscure niche. Therefore, there really is no benefit for me on clickbank.

        With roughly 9% transaction-handling charges, almost nobody's going to use Clickbank unless they want the automated affiliate payment system, I'd imagine. (Granted, a lot of vendors understandably do, and I'm not implying they shouldn't, obviously, but that must still leave a huge number who don't?).

      Pretty sure that there are quite a few listbuilding products on clickbank

    I chose not to go the Clickbank route because I basically wasn't getting any sales. I also read somewhere that there is only a small percent of Clickbank affiliates that actually make any money and most of that is in the make money niche. The set-up fee too can be quite a bit of money if you are starting out and there are a lot of other sites out there you can sell your products in that don't have that initial fee.
