RAP + $7DSS - PAYPAL CONCERNS! -Can they Freeze your Funds due to MANY funds +Is premier acc Needed?

1) For use of or $7DSS or RAP, is it necessary to have a paypal business or premier account? or it can be personal?

2) Which type is preferred ?

3) I heard bad things about paypal holding and freezing payment for 6 months if not used properly,

What is the best way using RAP + $7 to Avoid this paypal issue happening?

If i have 1000 affiliates promote my product on 90%-100% commission
-I don't want to receive 1000 Affiliate transactions at 90%- 100% commission, and get an email from paypal saying that the account funds are frozen as 1000+ Transactions have happened,

because lets face it, 1000 affiliate transactions would look suspicious to paypal, correct?

4) What is the way around this? or do you guys make 2000+ transaction sales using paypal- how to you get around them getting suspicious and freezing your funds?

5) If using premier, will all of my affiliates get notification of my real full name that I have used on my paypal account?

6) If using a personal + premier account, will all my affiliates who sell my ebook product, will they be able to see my Real name which I have used for my paypal account?

Cheers you Mega paypal affiliate sellers, the above info would be great

    1. No personal - you cannot receive payments as premier and business can.

    2. Business or premier.

    3. Yes.
Next, obviously, you don't understand how $7 and RAP work.
Affiliates get paid directly to their PP account. Not through your account. These two script don't "share" the money - they divide the sales.

    E.g. affiliates earn 50%:
    1. sale - vendor gets paid
    2. sale - affiliate gets paid
    3. sale - vendor gets paid
    4. sale - affiliate gets paid....... and so on ad infinitum
    4. Regardless, call them before your launch and tell them your account's activity will suddenly increase.

    5. Read the line in italic......

    OK,

    1. Premier at least to receive payments.

    2. Business may be better. I have a premier account with RAP and works fine.

    3. Is always suggested to phone them if you have any questions, make sure you are following their terms of service and if you have a problem, call them. I have a lot of clients using RAP with out issues.

With both RAP and $7SS, affiliates get paid direct.

    4. Once again, if you think you have a hot product that you will generate a lot of sales, then call them ahead of time and let them know. And affiliates get paid direct.

    5. They would probably get your real name from your site. If they are getting paid direct, then there is nothing that comes from your PP account.

    Does that help.

    Thanks,

    John

      1) Lets say I am the Affiliate selling somebody elses product, (Not setting up RAP at this stage) but just selling other peoples ebooks, then DO i need at least a premier account?

      2) Lets say in that scenareo I make 3000 100% commision sales (I keep all the % 100%) - of the other persons product I am promoting, then again can paypal get suspicious of 3000 transactions and freeze the funds?

anyway around this? (it is a diff case to my question 4 above)

If you are doing business, then you need to get a premier or business account. It's in the TOS. Personal accounts are for personal stuff, not business.

A personal PayPal account cannot receive payments.

        They will freeze your account.

If you were to make that many sales, that would be wonderful...

but I think to even consider it to possibly be a problem, I think you would have to have a rush of affiliate sales in a very short time. I imagine it's possible, but not likely.

In the end, if you follow PayPal's TOS and stay up with them by phone for problems or questions, it won't be a problem.

Either way, if you don't try, you make nothing.

        Thanks,

        John

You NEED premier, its free to upgrade. Make sure to verify it also by providing bank or credit card information. If you don't want to use your personal bank account you can use a prepaid visa card by someone like http://www.netspend.com and link the account using the direct deposit option. If you don't take these steps your account will get frozen more than likely with heavy use. You will need to do this rather you are the affiliate or the vendor.

Several people told you YES, you need premier. Now get over to PP and upgrade your account and stop asking the same.

Whats with the arrogance? I thought this forum is for asking?

Besides, Its not about not getting answer what i want, but the answer provokes new questions! is that such a crime?

I know the rest is due to trying and trialing too.

The 2nd time i asked that was for the other way around- Me being the affiliate, not the affilate selling my products

I guess i have to follow your example to make that amount of sales, hey? :p

Whether you have affiliates or you are an affiliate, if you want to receive payments into your PayPal account - you must have a Premier or Business account.

This is any payment at all, for anything whatsoever.

PayPal members may, of course, send money to one another... but if you start getting money sent to you from a lot of people, and this is less than even ONE hundred, PayPal will shut down your account for a terms of service violation.

This is so true, I had my account frozen for less than $200 because I had a sudden increase of payments coming in on a personal account.

That is what the purpose of my questions was, to avoid this from happening!

How can i prevent it? avoid it? reduce the chances? (Without saying NO to people sending me money) lol.

Sheryl, what was your case? did you get like 5 payments from people in a short amount of time ?

The answer has already been given to you several times in this thread. Get the upgraded account and call PayPal if you think you will get a sudden increase in sales. For a personal account, it only takes a couple of sales to raise a red flag because it is NOT a business account.

If you have a sudden increase in sales then there is a very good chance that they will freeze your account. I recommend you either call them in advance to let them know you are launching a product and are expecting an increase in sales or use 2checkout or some other system where payments are going through another parties paypal account.

oh so you're asking as the affiliate not seeling your own product, disregard my last post then I think you should still have either a premier or business account, certainly not a personal account.

And if you do expect to make a lot of sales or a big increase in sales then I would still perhaps contact Paypal and let them know. They are very good at freezing accounts without warning so it's best to play it safe.

If you want to do business, upgrade it to business account. Don't just upgrade to premier. This show paypal that you are in business. Business account have have high payments capacity. Do not use personal account for business ever, your account will be frozen.

    I hope this will help,

There are other Internet Marketers who are receiving payments from paypal without problems. My advice is just go ahead and upgrade to paypal business account. Fill out your Tax ID for business purpose which is required for business account. And some other extra info if required.

You need to take action and willing to try it out. Don't be afraid. This should not be a big issue. Don't make things difficult when it is really easy.
