So I'm an up and starting Freelance Writer (actually been up for quite a while, just trying to jumpstart business), and I've been getting a lot of requests for Unique Article Wizard friendly articles. I've done some searching but alas, I cannot find much information regarding UAW

How exactly does one write for UAW? From what little I've heard, it's basically a paragraph-based spinner, correct?

Actually UAW does not technically spin articles; the UAW subscriber must provide spun ready content and UAW takes that content and essentially randomly shuffles the paragraphs.

The UAW requests you are receiving means they are requesting "1" article spun into "3" different versions, with each version broken down into "8" distinct paragraphs.

The key point is that each paragraph is saying essentially the same thing, just with different words.
