Word of mouth = £800 + per week in less than 2 months

Some of you may know that I started a new business recently (those who I have spoke with on Skype anyway.)

When I started, I was cold calling all week. I hated it, and even though it landed me a lot of potential clients, I didn't have time to nurture those leads and continue cold calling.

And to be honest, I didn't want to keep cold calling either way.

After all my efforts, I developed a relationship with one client who grew with my business and we worked on a system that is mutually rewarding.

His input was invaluable for me going forward. But here's the real beauty...

He told his mate who runs a business.

His mate told another of his associates who runs a business.

Then another friend told their friend what I was doing, and they're now onboard, with the potential for another dozen or so of their associates that they've already said they will tell if it all works out.

So already, within a matter of weeks, less than two months, I have 4 clients that are generating upwards of £200 each per week, or a total of £800 if you prefer.

That's about $1200, for the US readers

What's my point?

Word of mouth works.

But in order for it to work, you need:

1. A strong offer/angle
2. Good customer service
3. Value for money
4. Results

I honestly believe that's all you need. It's not that hard either.

Even if you're an affiliate and have little control, you can bring something unique to the table to stand out from the competition.

Don't just think of free reports either. Look at different angles...

- Software
- Useful websites (with built in tools)
- Services
- Consulting
- Community hubs
- Accessories to the sale

These are just SOME of many unique angles you can use to get past the competition and actually create an ASSET that sets you apart, and gets people talking about YOU, not who you're promoting.

And if you're the product owner or service provider, then it's even easier, as you have full control to address each of the 4 points I mentioned earlier.

And here's my biggest tip:

If you're struggling to get anyone to listen to you, or buy from you, then get them the results up front. This creates a relationship of trust, and they're more likely to tell their friends/associates about you later on.

And for the sake of giving away the farm to that person, you're now kick starting a word of mouth machine where people call/email/visit YOU, and you no longer have to hunt them down.

Yes, this word of mouth thing works better for small businesses that offer services, but it works for getting real backlinks, free traffic and all kinds of other exposure for a long time.

For me, my business is growing on autopilot because I'm getting people REAL RESULTS and being cool with them on a personal level.

I know you've probably heard this stuff before, but I wanted to show you the benefits of actually making it happen.
