Hey guys,

The internet is growing at tremendous speeds now and each day we encounter scams. Some of us bite some of us don't.

It would be nice to share tricks with each other to spot them
and understand different ways to avoid them

I want to limit the amount of garbage people click on or fall for

Although it is hard to spot, what are your thoughts?

Avoid anything that comes through your email, chances are they paid for a list of emails off of a site you've recently been on, these are almost always scams! If you find yourself on a page and they are offering something, beware if they ask for an email address, cell phone number, street address, etc, these could all be scams!! ALWAYS BE AWARE OF WHAT INFORMATION YOU'RE GIVING OUT!

Also, anything that sounds "too good to be true", usually is!!

Most of being able to spot and avoid scams is to use common sense and keep your greed gland in check. Unfortunately, neither of those seem to be easy to teach to others.
