Made $3200.00 From One Article This Week - True Raw Power

I am going to make this short. I am not here to gloat! or go on about a WSO, i just want to help share part of my businesses plan that is going gang busters. I am here to merely show you the true power of article marketing.

2 weeks ago, I did a youtube video in my niche (IM) and the next day I listened to the audio of my video and wrote it out and made and article out of the words I spoke so it was original but I also made sure It was keyworded and SEO'ed. I got someone else to upload these to about 26 article directories.

At the end of the article I plugged an affiliate product for $2000 (initial price of $4000 with 50% commissions). I thought maybe someone might read it and buy. But not only that, The seller added in a backend for a paid forum membership and other products recently, and the person that bought the main product of $2000 also bought $1200 worth or products after. What a friggen great week!!!

Just goes to show you the true power of youtube and article marketing. You do not know what lerks around the corner when you try these sorts of things.

Hope this helps you make some of the green.!!

np, again not to gloat, but this is the about the 5th time I have done this with my testing and with different products in different niches.

The even better news is that I think in my testing and coversion that this works better if you are promoting a product that does not belong to the IM niche. That being said it might be hard to find such an affiliate product out there....but I know they do exist.

Hey good job, and good luck. I am sure you will do well with it.

My articles are set out like this :-

      -State the problem
-annoy them and get them thinking how bad it is.
-lead into that there is an easy solution right under their nose
-give them at least 5 simple tips to help them solve their problem, be different.
-most important bit (tell them to click the link)

that was short hand, but I guess you get my drift.

This will not make you a million dollars by next week. However you can build and build and have a nice automated business going in no time. If you are good writer pre-seller your chances improve greatly.

      Dont you just love IM.

Thanx bloke. Sometimes it is just amazing that people simply miss the true power of articles if done properly. When I first starting with articles I sucked big time......I mean very BIG TIME. but there were a select few warriors in here, masters of that game that set me straight quickly.

I like testing the sig link, one of the most important aspects to doing this sort of thing. They dont click the link....they dont optin, read, buy etc.

Doesn't take too many conversions to make good money, when you are pushing a $4,000 product with a 50% commission. One of those a week would suit most of us to a T.

I know....i know.....more directories and more trial and error I have so many ideas....will come back and let you know how I go. I did many tests to make sure this was not just a fluke. A great start, but I guess i am a long way from killing it..... exciting but.

Do article marketing, and get good at it. The rewards are priceless....and you will learn many things as you go along...as I did. I am no guru at writing these, but the funny thing is you dont have to be.....its just taking action is the key.

    Hi, Celente

    Just a couple quick questions.

1.- You mentioned You Tube and Article Marketing- ok, did You Tube actually have anything pertinent to do with this, or are you just saying you transcribed your own audio for the originality?

    and -

2.- Was your video a live video or just power point type presentation?

I am just wondering to be sure if you are just stating the importance of articles or if you tube had some relevance?

    Thanks,
    Robert

      Good question, thanks for asking.

I did get a few good view for my video. When I checked last it had received 2900 views. It was just a simply camtasia presentation. Powerpoint presentation style.

I am a tracking nut, and watch everything I do....so then I have a road map of what to do more of and what to do less of....and then ramp that up.

On this occasion, I did get some traffic from my youtube vid but I can say I did not get any sales. I tracked my articles that got spread out into cyberspace and can confirm this sale came from one of my articles I had out there.

It is good to know that now this content is out there, it is likely they will bring in some forms of traffic for many months to come.

      Hope this helps.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but a sales "trend" of just one sale does not warrant some of the responses in this thread.

Proof of concept, or proof of fluke sale? There are countless people submitting articles. The process is beyond saturation. That doesn't mean there aren't sales to be had, but it does mean that each success story is a tiny print "results not typical" story.

One sale is not proof of concept. If you want to think of this as a sales to attempts ratio, he is currently 1:1. Maybe the OP can return to the thread and update us after 99 more rounds of article submissions. Chances are, the ratio will then be 1:100.

People get too excited hearing about this stuff.

ha ha, bring on the nay sayers and other morons that I see have posted in here!!!. There are a few of them in here. I really havent heard a good argument from their side anway....Meh...... anyway....

What you have to remember is 5 things:-

          1) The warrior forum is full of dim witted thread interupters, that seem to spend their whole time in here bringing posts down. They dont realise that this time could be spent on their businesses and applying things they have learnt in here. Their loss I guess.

          2) This is not for everyone. I have articles that have bombed out badly, but on the other hand I have articles that have 20,000 views and I know if I get up and leave tomorrow, the will be a nice amount of traffic and sales I will get from these, and subscribers also I can sell to later on down the track. Articles are still my favorite traffic source.

          3) Article market is all about testing. When you find something like this that works, try to first make it work, and then set a competition for yourself to try and beat your results. Use a control article, re-write it and try to get more people clicking your sig link. I find that in every niche that i am testing with articles people like reading more about one specific topic, and then furthermore people like articles titled e.g. "top 10 ways...." "7 Simple Steps To..." u get the idea.

          4) People give up when they write 10 articles and get no results. Do not give up.... it has happend to me when I first started, cause I did not know how or what to write about properly. So I outsource now, and you would be suprised at how cheap it is. I even get my mates son at college to help out for a good price. I was suprised at how well he writes, and I think the better the content, the better the sentence structure, the better results you will get. But as long as your content is different and gets people talking....or thinking, "damn that was awesome!"

          5) Don't give up, dont listen to people that tell you it is all a pipe dream. Even if it is your partner. I keep reminding mine, that she wouldnt be driving her brand new Toyota 4WD if i stopped doing internet marketing. That keeps her pretty quiet most the time....LOL.

Ever heard the saying, "The harder I work, The luckier I get!" I live by that everyday.

Good luck with it all, and hope this info helps you make some of the green.

I'm not here as a naysayer. I just find the flow of these kind of threads to be bizarre whenever they pop up here.

You made one sale. The response to your hype from a more experienced group of respondents would have been posts to the effect of "Congrats, now lets see how quickly you can repeat it." Instead, we see newbies falling to their knees in the glory of article marketing (with some sig shills thrown in).

If you had come in here with a pattern of multiple sales over X rounds of submissions, some of the excitement displayed by newbies in this thread would have been more understandable. This was ALL that I was getting at.

First off, thanks a lot for all the information. Really generous of you.

I tried searching the forum for threads by Jason Moffat and am not finding anything. Do you, by any chance, have a link to that thread or any other tips on finding high-end affiliate products? I'll do some digging around on my own, but any tips would be nice.

Also, I'm curious about whether you're doing a redirect or sending them to your own website. I suppose it's worth testing--like anything else. This seems like a pretty straightforward concept and I do a lot of article marketing for my clients already. I have no illusions about the amount of testing it would take to start having some real success at it, but since I already submit so many articles and have my VA's up on the process, I might as well sit down and write up a batch of articles like this and see what happens.

Thanks again for the post and your thorough responses. Great stuff!

            Cheers,

Jason moffatt is a clever dude.

Read this post of his from a while back. That will keep you keep you busy. . >> http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...e-program.html

I make nearly 5 figures a month because of this post. Lots of newbies ask how.

But I finally realized later in my IM career that it is just as easy selling high priced affiliate programs to hungry markets.....

Trust me when I say you aint gunna make it big in this game selling $47 ebooks. I am clever and mastered my sales funnel. SO its a win win situation. I make a little money on the front end with these cheap ebook, its ok money, but any good marketer in here will tell you its all in the back end where you will clean up.

Yes I do sell ebooks, but most of my sales come from products over $900 and coaching and membership sites. That is what I spend most my days on now. Keeping clients happy. You keep them happy and they keep coming back, again and again.

Haha wow you must be making quite a bit online. Congrats WOW $3600 for one article is crazy! Wish I was that successful.

Do you only work on articles or other methods as well for your affiliate promotion. Additionally do you use a landing page or direct offer page

            Celente.
            Well said Celente.

Would you care to share which service or who you use for outsourcing your articles?

I have had problems getting really good articles written in the IM niche.
I had a bunch written and they were all basically the same. Very repetitive.

I think what's cool about this post though is that it can open your mind to the possibilities out there.

Any of the marketing techniques can work just ready fire aim and take action, look at your results, modify accordingly, until you come up with a surefire way to success.

Hey Sandy--Shameless self-plug here, but I actually do articles in this niche and I my whole angle in this business is setting myself apart from the run-of-them mill freelancer and producing unique, quality content. Just drop me a pm or check out my sig if you want to see what I can offer. Otherwise, good luck with your projects.

              Cheers,
              James

Edit: By the way, I'm unsure about the rules on self-promotion here, so if I'm violating them, feel free to lay the smack down, my friends.

Awesome, do you mind sharing what product you were promoting? Or have tips for some higher priced products? I'm dying to find some higher ticket products in the IM niche.

Also did you optimize your article for the product name or was it just a random keyword such as 'make money online' (just an example, obviously it's hard to rank for this one with EZA..lol). Anyway, usually a product name keyword would be easier to sell as that person is already interested in the product.

Anyway looking to hear more details from you.

I am not going to give away the product, I think jason moffat had a thread with about 30 or 40 very high priced sort of affiliate programs you can promote. But normally you just have to dig around a bit first.

I used marketsamurai to find 3 or 4 targeted terms which I did decide to use, it was not the product keyword, although you have given me an idea on that lol

Youtube gets a lot of traffic and a good video with the right keywords can get tons of views, all of it is free.

I've done 4 videos for a non-monetized site (just for my hobby which is very niche) that have gotten 12,000 views and daily clickthroughs with membership sign ups.

Congrats! But why 100s of my articles get only 10-30 views each although it's seo optimized. What else did you do to your articles to get so much views?

WSO: I PROMISE/GUARANTEE you that this will be the LAST WSO you will ever need to purchase!

Here's the thing. The above may seem too good to be true but all I can say is there isn't even 1% hype or BS in the above sentence. This WILL BE YOUR LAST WSO to purchase.

YouTube is good - a lot of search results include a couple of videos so it's an easy way to outrank in competitive niches. I guess most of what is on YouTube is rubbish so getting noticed isn't difficult.

You also get a lot of organic backlinks - I'm forever linking to YouYube videos from my HubPages.
