Hi all,

I'm in a spot. I'm starting my email list from scratch and I'm not sure if I should get aweber right off the bat.

It seems that aweber is an excellent solution, but because I have no list it will cost me for awhile.

I do have 300 RSS subscribers and I hope to get some of them on board right way. My concern is that if I start with a cheap or free solution and switch when my list does grow won't my original subscribers have to re-confirm to join in or stay on the new list? That's sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Not sure what to do because at least at first the ROI would be terrible.

Thanks for any tips on this.

    Start off right...with aweber.
Your right aweber requires a double opt in and it is very difficult to transfer your list ..if not impossible.

Look at it this way it is a business investment. It may take time for it to pay off but its better to start it right then to half @$$ it in the beginning just to save a few dollars.

    IMHO

Am not sure why you would start with free services. If this is a hobby for you fine but if you are seriously thinking about business I would think some investment is needed.

Would you build an offline business without investing a cent?

    Just my 2 cents.

You can a 30-day trial of AWeber for just $1 and thereafter
it will be $19 for your first 500 subscribers.

Start off your list building efforts on the right foot and use
a reliable provider such as AWeber. They are an excellent
choice and have been providing autoresponders for over
      10 years now.

Just begin to direct your RSS subscribers to a page where
they can opt-in to your list and then you can begin to migrate
      them onto your AWeber account.

With the right approach, you can make back much more
      than your monthly autoresponder costs.

Plus you're building a real asset that will produce income
for you now and well into the future too.

      Dedicated to your success,

      Shaun

  • I totally agree: start off with the right foot and go with Aweber. Well worth the monthly fee, even if it's a bit more expensive than its competitors.
