Suggestion of Courses for a Newbie?

Alright, so this is my situation:

Firstly, I am not located in US. Somewhere far from it in fact. As I am starting out now, I won't be creating my own product so it I am mostly likely to go for affiliate marketing. I have looked through the products on Clickbank and I find that I don't really have a prior knowledge in the niche, and I am lacking in IT skills too, which make it difficult to write content/review.

So, is there any good step by step course that will help me in everything to get my site launched etc? Thank you!

Although Affiliate Marketing is not a bad idea, I strongly suggest The 30 Day Challenge - and you'll get almost everything you need for IM.

It's free of charge of course.

Ok, you can start a review blog on a related niche and make some articles describing the product and his benefits , then submit the articles to article directories and I think you will receive traffic that will convert on 1-2%.

So you will make 1-2 sales from 100 visitors...this is good.

You can check my first signature and look for the FREE Mini Course and sign up for it. It will give you information in relation to Internet Marketing. You can ignore all the other stuff.

    I hope that helps.

I'd recommend Michael Rasmussen's mini sites exposed.

Michael's mini sites exposed provides step-by-step videos (which lasts only 10 mins each) that brings you through the process of making your mini site.
It's about 11 videos, and they're simple to follow.

Check it out, and hope it helps.

        Hi Alexa

I was in your position not so long ago, then I found an excellent free ebook and 26 part video course from Chris Farrell (Create Your First Website by 3:45 This Afternoon) that took me step-by-step through every stage required to set up my business.

You can access the book and videos (totally free of course) through my own website link below.

I thoroughly recommend it to anyone, who like me, is not from a techie background and wants to learn the process of creating a successful onlne business.

It is a skill - but the good news is that like all skills it can be learned. Most people fail with internet marketing because they do not take the time to learn the basics. This course takes you from the very basics onwards.

        To your success.

The 30 Day Challenge is great, but I'd also recommend that you get a membership to the War Room here. Seriously, the best $37 you'll ever spend with the amount of information that's given away for free in there

I would recommend that you stay clear of all the websites that promise you the world and say that you can succeed without a website / list / partners and it will take you less than 30 minutes a day.

These will sell for ~ $27 - $47 and you'll end up in a lot of debt buying lots and not making any of the sales promised.

If you want to be an affiliate then find a free rebrandable report and learn how to set up a squeezepage so you can then drive traffic to it and start listbuilding.

You will have to buy some basic webhosting, a domain, and a thirdparty autoresponder.

I would second the recommendation for minisitesexposed the quicker you learn how to do simple tasks yourself the quicker you can start to profit and steer clear of the affiliate guides until you know who to trust and who to avoid.

Wow, that was some great suggestions from all of you! Thank you One more question I have is, for those of you who are marketing several products, do u have to create all different websites? What do you do when you stop marketing for one product but you already bought the domain name etc? Is it possible to have several websites but subscribing to one hosting service only?

If you know what type of niche you are going to promote you could look for a general name in that niche for your website. Then if you do decide to change the product you are going to promote you would still have a relevant web name. This is if you are going to create a one-page "squeeze page" website.

If you are going to create a content-rich website with many pages - perhaps using WordPress - then you could promote several products throughout the pages of your website without confusing your readers.

As for hosting, I can only speak from personal experience, and I am sure others here will have other suggestions too. I am with a membership site that allows me to host as many sites as I like included in the subscription. This has made it very cost effective for me.
