75 Article views with 10 percent URL click Rate in Ezine

Hi..

I submitted a article just two days ago. It got 75 views and 10 percent URL clicks in ezine. Is this normal count for two days? or Did my article has something special in it?

Note: I have not social bookmarked the article.

You need to give some more advice, like what niche your in.

but you submitted your site to ezine articles which gets huge traffic, mayou choose a popular niche. Goodwork.

for a 10% ctr thats ok, not too bad (depnding on the niche) where are you sending your traffic?

That barely meets the definition as an article, in my book, but the important thing is that you have a good title on the article, and a nice call-to-action...

Thanks for your reply. Usually how many daily views will be there for a good article in Flirting Niche?

I cannot speak directly to flirting per se... I have never done anything there...

I have done dating and other niches at EZA, and your page views are pretty high on a new article...

Many articles only get 100 views lifetime on EZA...

I have some that have gotten 100 views... Then I have some that have thousands... But the thousands are rare...

Your early results indicate that it will be a big winner for you... But that is really hard to predict...

Good job indeed. I guess your article must be full of quality content and perhaps you have taken some measures to optimize your article.
I have submited several articles, but I can just get 5% or little click rate.

You need to presell make them want to go to your site to read more. Forinstance in the resource use this line "if you would like to know more about keyword/s or keyword/s visit yoursiteurl with out linking to it" I link to the 2 keywords and use the site url just so that the name of the site is there for them to see and maybe visit later. This tactic has worked well for me my entire account with over 50 articles for two seperate pen names in two seperate niches is getting over 20% ctr. This is not saying that all your articles will get this high of a number but you will see consistancy. I am also willing to bet you are writing for many different niches with a single pen name. This hurts your ctr as well since you can not be an expert at everything as you are claiming when you use only one pen name. That is just a piece of advice for I do not know if you use one or 100 pen names but you need to focus one name per niche/related niche. It will help your ctr 100% if you only claim to be an expert in one field.

Sounds like you had one of those ok articles for eza. It was probally a popular market when you published it but it does not mean the numbers wil last long. For the one gem of an article I submitted got over 120 views in the first few days with a click rate of 33% it does still continue to get 50 or so visitors a a month but the wave of traffic did not last until I started bookmarking, submitting the feed, and pinging it a month later. It started to pick up again. The first few days you will always get the most views to your article for the views come from the article going out to main of eza sister sites and or publishers. If you want to help gain some weight with that article I suggest going into eza and submitting the same article to press release service they have there. That will help give you pen name some weight and people may start searching for your work elsewhere

I disagree with the content of the article. Humour is not what gets the the girl, it is the art of coming across authoritatively. With humour they are more likely to say 'no' but women simply cannot resist being told what to do! (It is the same with men in other ares of life). As it is marketing, I guess anything can go. As for the line:

"Most of the guys lead a successful career with woman because of missing simple steps"

is wrong and a few tweaks can be made to the correct the wording of the article. With only 250 words of content, the click through rate should be greater.

...hmmm.... really? I can definitely resist being told what to do.

Anyway, I'm actually surprised you aren't getting a higher CTR on that one. Sometimes when I submit articles they get a lot of views the first day because they are listed in the new section, then it drops off quite a bit. I noticed when I just went there that it is up to 125 but I'm not sure if those additional visits are just people coming from here.

    Hey
A suggestion for your landing page. I had to look around to find the 'buy' button as it was not easy to find. Can I suggest that you redo the way you have done it to something that slaps the lead in the face and maybe put 2-3 of them throughout the landing page as this may help with sales.

      Hey Grimmace,

In "Can I suggest that you redo the way you have done it to something that slaps the lead in the face" what you meant exactly? Could you please elaborate in detail.

I have some articles with 100 views and 10% click rate, so I think that's not very unusual.

I have read your article and found it pretty short for preselling purpose.

You need to add some valuable points more to provide additional value for your readers.

The flirting niche is the one which demands more emotional touch for the readers.

If you can touch the reader's mind with emotional words then you can easily double your CTR.

The point here is to increase the traffic to your website which can only be achieved by optimizing your article content as well as your presell page.

Here in this case you are sending direct traffic to your sales page which I think is little bit like pushy-salesman.

So here are two things you need to focus to increase your product sales:

    1) Increase the content of the article by adding some emotional story. The main point of your article should be to touch the reader's mind and tell them the only way possible to achieve what they are looking for is on the next page which is your presell page.

    2) Add some of kind of story on the presell page first and then send them to sales page. This way your conversion rates will be higher and CTR will be also much higher than your present rate.
