I put the code for several items from Amazon on several other sites I own.

I know for certain that a few months ago I saw many sales in the accounts when I logged in, today I see nothing!

I sent an email to support and the upshot is if the websites were not approved individually then the items are deleted eventually. Only the original site I registered with them gets to keep the sales it makes, the others sites don't count.

What? Are you sure? What do mean 'the items are deleted'?

The items are deleted because the support staff cannot find them anymore, so you earn nothing from them.

What do you mean by the support staff can't find them? Why would they need to find them?

        Please clarify.

I don't have the site that I originally registered with any more and have been getting monthly payments from earnings generated by sites that I added later so those earnings are obviously counting.

When I first registered I used my IM blog as my main website. It has no Amazon links on it. I then started building Amazon sites and never bothered to add these sites in my Amazon account. I've been paid every single month like clockwork by Amazon for all my sales.

I have several Amazon sites and I've never heard of this. Can you paste their response to your email query here?

Very strange then that the support staff can't find any of these items going back two years from low traffic sites and I have never had a payment from them.

I'm confused...when you say they can't find any "items" going back two years...do you mean items that you sold off of one of your sites?

    Further to this:
"I do not show any orders placed via your Associate links.
We would need more information from you on the orders you believed
were placed and are not recorded. You can use the link above to send us any
additional information you have so we can investigate further.

Please send us the URLs for the sites, and we will review them and let you know
our decision. Once approved, we will send you instructions on how to add the
    URLs to your account.
    "

It seems you need prior approval for all your other url's or the sales don't get paid.

Just noticed you are in the UK. Maybe it's a UK thing. Because I get paid monthly for mine and none of my sites have been approved by anyone.

Thats simply not true. I have numerous Amazon sites all over the place and some of them I did not even build myself or know they exisited until sales showed up. It has nothing to do with the UK either as I am in UK

Ditto ... and I have a ton of sites in there. Are you sure that you aren't getting confused with the support staff trying to find expires products that yo might have had links to?

I'm in the UK and I have about 25 sites that I am getting Amazon sales on and being paid for. None of those sites are the original that I signed up with and got approved, I just added them as I built them.

The only things that I've never been paid for was once when I saw something that I wanted to buy on one of my sites and bought forgetting that it was my link and I've had 2 expensive items waiting to be built and shipped for several weeks.
