Best place to advertise your opt-in page - articles, forums?

Dear all!

I was wondering where the best place to advertise my squeeze page in, its a e-book give away and i'm trying to grab as many emails as possible to list market to.

Are articles really the best way? I find them tedious to write if i'm honest! What about Yahoo answers, or Forums?

    oh yea that's exactly what I am looking for too .
    I heard of that the Make Money Online section here is a great way, but you actually have to be a full member and I haven't the money right now .

    There are loads of different methods you could use. Articles, commenting on other peoples blogs, making a blog, social media, media buys, PPC, PPV (watch out for those if you're new), guest blogging etc.

    It's all about putting links onto the internet. I would say that for you, the quickest method would be to do an hour a day of blog commenting. To do this, just find relevant blog posts and leave a helpful comment that leads to your page.

    It's quick and easy and providing the blog you're posting to has a lot of traffic you'll get some of it (providing you're cool and help people out with your comment).

    Another good route for you may be to submit an article of yours to another blog in your niche with a strong call to action at the end. Doing that is leveraging the age and popularity of other blogs to your advantage.

    facebook, twitter, warrior forum, "your niche" forum, MSN, whatsapp etc etc... anywhere you have an online profile and obviously, the more relevant the better (you may find more success trying to direct people to IM offers in warrior forum than to say... a golf website)

    It can be boring, but you have to work for it if you want results. If you invest money, it will involve less work on your part. Instead of writing these articles yourself, just hire someone to do it.

    I agree if you have a blog and have lots of traffic to it you can add your opt-in to the blog and see the subscribers rolling...
