Yes, I would like to know the directly measured bounce rate of those organic search results. If you have a google analytics account, it can provide you with the bounce rates for your sources of traffic.

Even though google provides my main site with about 50% of its traffic, the bounce rate of that traffic is around 50% - 55%.

One of my most targeted sources of traffic is youtube. My youtube traffic has a bounce rate of 25% - 35%. Even though the youtube traffic is a small percentage of the google traffic, it stays around longer, and more likely to sign up.

Yahoo and Bing bounce rate is in the 20% - 30% range.

My blog is my forums #1 source of targeted traffic, with an onsite time somewhere around 20 minutes and with around a 15% bounce rate.

My blogs main source of traffic is generic search traffic that has a bounce rate in the 70% - 75% range.

I use mainly organic search results which is working perfectly at the moment. Some of my articles and RSS feeds also are driving a good deal of traffic.

youtube videos convert best for me.

Article marketing can give you a lot of traffic, but the conversions are lower (not sure why) youtube videos have extremely high conversion rates for me.

    PayPerClick. PPC All The Way!!!!!

    Why?

    - Fast. I can start from scratch and see leads or sales in about 15 hours.
    - Scalable. More scalable than anything else. Once yo have fine-tuned your campaign and are constantly making profit, sclaing things up is't a big problem and it doesn't take much time. Just need to put more money into that biest
    - Tru affiliate lifestyle baby...

    All the best

I think if you look at the highly successful people in the business. Their number 1 traffic source is through JV. I think that should be everybodies approach, yeah getting ranked high in google is great, but what happens when they change the algorythm? You get booted from the first page and will have zero business. I'm not saying that you shouldn't aim for organic through the search engine, but you should focus a hell of alot more on getting JV partners.

I have to disagree with you completely. Physical products, products you can see, feel, and touch, outsell digital products every day of the week online. Sure digital products may (sometimes) have a higher margin, but physical products, products people need, want, must have, will outsell digital products.

I have sites I haven't touched in years ranking on the first page of SERPs. Every now and then they'll drop to the second page, but they always return to the first. Why? Because they provide useful, relevant information for a specific keyword phrase.

I've never done a JV. I've never written my own product. I don't do adwords, even though I have done it for testing in the past.

I pre-sell other people's physical products. Keyword being physical.

I have sites that pre-sell some of the most mudane stuff you'll ever see online. But they consistently make money each and every month. And that's the point of the whole exercise. Profit.

I'm not saying you shouldn't bother with organic trafiic, but check this out.

When was the last time you made 100k in a day from organic traffic. Have you?

Now look at product launches Ie; Mobile Monopoly and a ton of others. Did they rely on organic traffic or JV traffic?

Look at guys like Alex Goad, Eric Louviere, Adam Horowitz, Greg Jacobs, and the list can go on and on and on...

Did they get a ton of JV taffic or organic traffic that made em hundreds of thosands of dollars?

I must be really out of the loop, I only recognized a couple of those names, and that vaguely. Mobile Monopoly, never heard of it. Great name though. I can see why you would use it for an example.

100k in a day is an impressive number. Have I made 100k in 1 day? Nope. Have you?

I'm not going to go into details on how much I make online, because if I did you wouldn't believe me anyway.

But I can tell you this.

I would rather invest however much money that "Mobile Monopoly" cost in developing new sites that will bring me $x,xxx per month, consistently and passively, for the next 5 years.

If that program cost $500 bucks, you just threw away $200-2000 per month in passive income, just to get the next big thing.

I'll stick with what I do. It's much more predictable.

I'm not sure you grasp the concept. What I said has zero to do with buying the next big thing. Best of all, having JV's to promote for you costs next to nothing (other than getting them the promotional materials they need created.)

OK this is weird tonight I stumbled on a free video about using Wikipedia to post links to your stuff.

Neat stuff I can't wait to try.

A guy I never heard of before a George Brown gives the free video.
It's free and he showed the traffic he gets from it.

I never knew you could post links on Wiki very cool.
Like I said I'm gonna try this week and posts back.
