Hi,
I just checked an article from one of my own sites from July 1st with Copyscape Premium search to check if it has been copied from another source. So even when my article on my site is indexed the Copyscape search doesn't find any results. To me it now looks totally worthless when it can't even find a 100% copied text from the G index. What are your thoughts on Copyscape or how do you check if your writer completed unique articles for you?

Thanks,
capo

I must just be unlucky anytime I use longtail keywords or quote a line I saw somewhere to closely it picks me up a 1-3% copied.

I have a lot of confidence in Copyscape

    Hi,

I don't know about anyone else, however it always works for me. It finds things that I can't even find on Google. Do you run the whole article or a few sentences at a time?

What I usually do is to take that same article
and have it posted on my blog - and then,
I'll take the URL of that blog post and run it
    through Copyscape.

    It hasn't failed me yet.

    Hope that helps~

Funny thing...just did a check through copyscape and found a site that stole some of my content. Pisses me off! I just emailed them telling them to get rid of it or give me credit. We'll see what happens.

Copyscape works AMAZINGLY well, but it is FAR from perfect. NOTHING is perfect. Personally, I wouldn't even dare attempt such a feat. Even GOOGLE doesn't!

OK so far had no trouble with copyscape. It works well at finding "exact" copies. Not that great at finding those that went thru a spin program. Google is getting better at finding dups and penalizing you. Be careful if people copy your copy.
