Video Membership Examples

11 replies
Hey there,

I'm researching Video Membership sites and I could use some help digging up good models.

For Example:

Main site has useful information for anybody but membership is offered for series of videos.

User signs up for a video tutorial and receive a password to a new video every 30 day cycle.

Hopefully, the user wont need a separate password for each video... If the purchased 5 videos, ideally it would take 1 PW.

Also, any EBooks on how to build a video membership program would be helpful.

Thanks!!

    Hmm. you can do allot of manipulation with Amember in getting something like this going. Maybe not providing them a password per video but unlocking new sections of the members area containing the video each month.

    Very good question though. If I find any, I will let you know more.

    Looks like they have it down to a science. I'm not crazy about the tempalte approach but time is money.

        You have many options but let me give you my two recommendations.

        1st--> S2Member-- This is a WP membership plugin that comes in two flavors. Free an paid. Based on what you want, the free version should suffice, but if you need the paid version it won't break the bank --$69 single domain license--$129 unlimited site license.

        2nd-->Nanacast-- Nanacast can handle this and much more. Think of it as a shopping cart, membership platform, and affiliate script all rolled into one. It's very powerful but might cost a bit more than you want to spend ($97/mth) at this time.

    Use Traindom instead (Start Your Information Marketing Business in Minutes - Traindom). Way cheaper than the aforementioned (free until you're actually making money) and has private video upload streaming already built-in. No tech skills required whatsoever.

    @affczar,

    Check out http://DigitalAccessPass.com (DAP) - it was built around the concept of "Content Dripping".

    You can drip blog posts, pages, video/audio, PDF's, etc. Any kind of content you want.
