Niche Selection Made Easy, Assorted Tips

I think its universally recognized that one of the hardest parts about breaking into Internet Marketing is niche selection. Once you have a topic, you can quickly develop direction... but the question is: how to find one?

Here are some quick tips about finding a profitable niche that have helped me to launch products that consistently make over 100$ a day:

1) Its challenging to break into competitive niches like IM or weight loss (esp for rookies) so how can one generate unique product ideas?

Well... would you take almost unique? Search through the clickbank marketplace for desperate buyer sub-niches that only have ONE or TWO products. If the product has a gravity of say 5... that's fine. You just want to make sure its making sales. Even if it only made 5 sales a day... at 20-40 dollars a clip thats still respectable passive income for just one product. With just one other product the market is wide open for exploitation and you can siphon traffic pretty easily to start making sales.

2) PPC cost consideration.

Find a market with LOW cost PPC keywords. I generate a good portion of my sales from paid traffic. At .03 cents a click I can afford to. Even If I only converted in 1 in 200 I have only spent 6.00 and made 27 (or whatever your pricepoint is.) Honestly, you could have a horrible conversion rate and not even be in the greatest market to make decent money with PPC. This point is huge because if you find a solid market with low competition... this means paid advertising costs are going to be low as well.

3) Use Google trends to verify your niche traffic and see when the best time of year for your niche is.

Hope it helped.
