Hi! I'm completely new

Hey everyone!

I'm new here, been lurking around here for about two days as a 'guest' reading alot of your posts.
I've been interested in this internet marketing for quite some time, then I just put it aside because I couldn't get it to work. Mainly because I was paying alot of money for things that didn't seem to work and I never really understood what to do. Then I got a message the other day in my mailbox where someone promised zero cost commission, got interested then I thought "before I buy in to this "free" program I'll check if I can find any honest reviews. Found one here and I also found that people here seem genuinly honest and good. So anyway, as it is now I believe that all these "anti-guru which infact is actually guru" videos is not the way to go about if you want to make money online.
I'm not even in it to make a million or 10k of the internet marketing thing, but it'd be nice to have some sort of extra income for sure, and also a fun thing to do.

As stated I am completely new. But I've narrowed it down to a couple of things if you wouldn't mind hanging in there:

1. I find myself a niche.
2. I buy a PLR book within that niche. (Question: PLR means that you have the right to sell the service or ebook?)
3. This is as far as I've gotten, hah =)

I've read something about building a list, but I'm not even sure what that means, build a list of customers?

Anyways, I'd be happy for some feedback and I'm glad to be here and it's also nice to meet you all =)

    1. I find myself a niche.
    Make sure you do propper keyword research first to see how viable the niche is before you go out and build a site for it.

    2. I buy a PLR book within that niche. (Question: PLR means that you have the right to sell the service or ebook?)

    PLR stands for Private Label Rights which basically means you can take the product and alter it to make it your own. Every PLR package have different restrictions so be careful which one you choose when starting out.

    3. This is as far as I've gotten, hah =)

    Take your time with this if your just starting out and learn how to do research before you go out and spend a ton of money on this course and that. If you really want to get a good handle on the way this stuff works I suggest you try out the 90 day challenge. It's a FREE internet marketing course and it will help you understand what all is involved to make it online.

    Where you come from and how far you've got is not very important. The most important thing is where you are aiming at.

    What are your intenet marketing goal.

    You might be tempted to buy a lot of wso in the near future but keep yourself focused it's the only way to succeed.

      Very true.

      To succeed you have to know exactly what you want to achieve. And focus on that until you have reached your goal.

      To make this process easier it is a good thing to go into a market/niche that you are interested in and that you have passion for. It makes work enjoyable, which is supposed to be the point (maybe not 365 days a year, but you know..). A lot of people want to start internet businesses because they hate there regular job - which basically can be broken down to doing a thing you don´t like repetitively. And then they base there internet business on another thing they really don´t have any true interest for. :rolleyes:

      IMO, the only way to create something of quality is to choose something that are in line with your own passion or interests.

      I have this saying: Quality always leads to money, the desire of making money seldom leads to creating quality.

    Hi and welcome! Just a little advise. It took me awhile to learn this. In the beginning I purchased every new product and wasted lots of money. To succeed it's important to find your model and to remain focused. Develop tunnel vision until you see results.
