Help Me Please - Subscribe Box On Squeeze Page Questions

Hey Warriors.

I know about squeeze pages and lists, and how to make squeeze pages (im good at making websites and graphics )

But what i don't know and need help with is the subscribe box.

How do i get the coding for the subscribe box?

How does it work? Do i need to sign up to a company who handle my list for me?

If so... what is the BEST and CHEAPEST site service to use.

Please help, thanks.

Steve, you'll need to sign up with an autoresponder service. Aweber are the common choice and are very good, but they aren't exactly "CHEAP".

    Still, worth the money.

Have to agree with Nick about the value of AWeber.

To create the code you must create a list in your autoresponder program.

There is a new program out called Wizard Responder. If you want info about what I know, just send me a PM or email me at Carol@ the stepbystep address in my signature line. It is considerably less money and might be a good option for beginners who are not able to afford AWeber.

Well there are many options you have available. You can go with a monthly autoresponder service, or you can shell out a bit more and get one installed on your own host.

In either case, the service should provide you with the HTML for the form. If you need any help getting it set up, send me a PM.

One of the things that I really like about Aweber is that they have a very high deliverability rate. I've heard that this can be a problem with some smaller services, but personally I've never used any other autoresponder service besides Aweber.

They also make it very easy to put get the code and put it on your page.

Other options besides AWeber for AutoResponders are GetReponse.com (about $145/year if you pay for a year at once; cost increases the shorter the period you select) and 1 Shopping Cart (about $30/month).

I'm using GetResponse and it seems to work well. It's easy to navigate and setup email campaigns.

If you are comfortable with programming and setting up a database you could probably build your own list capture and email program. But I would recommend just going with an existing AutoResponder company that does this full time.

When you setup a campaign in the AutoResponder they will provide a bit of code to paste into your page that will provide the Name and Email boxes and the button to click. Very easy to do.
