The Most Powerful Colors in the World

Pretty interesting graphic I found today on Digg. Doesn't really surprise me to learn that blue and red are the most popular logo colors, but still really neat to see them all laid out like this.

Colour psychology is really interesting and something I am into. Interesting chart, thank you for posting!

Red for example is a colour that has ability to apper nearer then it really is, and thereby grab the initial connecting from the eye over other colours. That's also why they use it in traffic lights I've read somewhere. It has also been known to even raise pulse and make things appear faster (...read faster). Definately a good headline colour provided that you put it on the right background and these emotions fits the product.

I concur that red is time-tested and still works best in the headlines in your sales copy. It really draws attention to particular areas of text that you want to highlight, and I'm quite sure it stands out more than blue or any other color for this purpose, IMHO.

Why do you think communists were so successful?

Wild claims and red color on their flag. Definitely red.

I think the color BLUE is more professional and business-centric.
