VBulletin+Wordpress .. is it possible?

Several years ago, I made a site and the programmer was able to set things up so that visitors had to be logged in to view certain pages on my site. When they created an account, it was tied in with my forum (which was phpbb)..
Here's an example..
The Fitness Blueprint - Shoulders - Upright Rows
Now, I have a site that's running on wordpress and I would like to start a forum with the vbulletin script..
I'm just wondering if it's possible to set it up so that users have to be logged in (vbulletin)to view certain pages (wordpress) and if they're not, they'll be prompted to create an account/login similar to the way I have things set up in the above example.
The purpose of this would be to use content on my site as incentive to get them to sign up to the forum..
Any advice would be appreciated..
