How can I get google to "act normal" when I do a search?!?...

INTERNET MARKETING

I do a google search for term [whatever].

Then I do another search for [another topic].

The second search (+ all other subsequent searches) keeps "remembering" all my previous searches + BLENDING the results. -- so my search #2 comes up with results pertaining to topic #2, yes -- but it ALSO contains results from the previous search I just did.

How can I get google to do a search WITHOUT having it bring into play the terms I used in previous searches?!?

Please advise!!

If you're on Firefox try going to "tools" and then "set private browsing."

That helped a little, maybe. That still has some aspects of previous searches show up.

Somehow google's trying to be too "helpful."

I even think it is HIDING ads, because it knows I'm not geographically in that location.

you could use a little program called TOR or the onion router.

It will provide you with a browser and the option to appear from an IP anwhere around the Globe.

I think Google has lost the plot recently. I think their problem is that they make too many assumptions about what people want. They need to start simplfying again because they seem to be getting just a bit too desperate in trying to please everybody.

You could try using something like proxify.com or hidemya$$.com replace the $ with "s" ofcourse maybe that will help.

perhaps because I search on some unrelated areas I find that I can lose the "helpful" assistance that google wants to give out.

You might find you can undo the assistance by separating your two searches by something completely unrelated, not always easy to come up with, open the dictionary at a point and enter the 17 word down?

Here's one way to do it that works...

1) Make sure you are logged out of your Google account (you should not see your username at the top right corner on Google.com)
2) Search for a keyword on Google. Any keyword
3) You will now see a new link towards the top right called "Web History"
4) Click on it and if you see a link that says "Disable customizations based on search activity", click on it and make sure it says "Enable customizations based on search activity", which means it's not showing you results based on your web history, search history, preferences, etc.
