I Need Your Opinion! What Would You Do?

Okay so I want to make a consistent $2000+/month and the long term goal is to do IM Full time, I am determine to get there and make it work no matter how long it takes and even if it kills me.

So I have to decide since I my unemployment benefit has ended I have 2 choices that I was thinking about:

Go to school full time and do IM Part time and be broke and have no money to invest into IM but have an education to fall back on. My ass is covered by financial aid all the way so I don't have to worry about student loans.

or

Get a full time JOB just so I can get some money coming in so I can invest that money into IM

So many pros and cons to both option so I'm not sure which route to take.

What would you do? What would Jesus do?

If you go to school you can major in something that may help your online business. A couple of majors that I can think of right now are business and journalism.

There is plenty of way's to get started online for free. Our very own Zeus talked to his monkeys and created a video tutorial for getting started. You can find that here:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...o-excuses.html

There is also services you can do to help raise starting capital. Blog creation, writing, backlink building, etc..

Good luck in whatever you decide!

      Option 3

      Go to school part time.
      Get a part-time job.
Do IM the rest of the time.

That's a tough one. I would think that if you can go to school without getting too indebted, that would be a great place to be during a poor economic time. I never finished college, but I learned how to write in a way that produces results, and I had teachers that challenged me to think critically.

As I read your message (and please don't take this the wrong way), I thought about how you needed some better writing skills. Marketing is very much based on spoken and written language, and developing writing and communication skills would help you (whether that be in college or elsewhere).

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

The reason why im going to school is because financial aid will cover me all the way to a bachelor's degree otherwise heck no! I rather spend money on my business than on preparing myself for a job.

Anyways I hate writing but you don't need to be a good writer to make it in IM cause there's a thing called outsourcing.

That's a tough question mate.I m pretty much in the same position as you....With the only difference i am 27 years old, i ve been to college and now i am with no job.And no money eventually.I am new to Internet Marketing so i cant make yet a full time income from it.So i decided to get a full time to job,to have medical insurance, monthly paycheck and perform IM part time.

Until i have the opportunity to make a decent income from IM(1500$ and more per month would do the job for me),so i can quit the day job and enjoy my benefits from IM.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Getting an education is wonderful and it goes far beyond the money-you learn how to think and how to write and that is much more important because in the long run it will not only help you with IM (also business courses don't hurt either) but it will make you a richer person all around.

But what concerns me in the posts are 1. Thinking you can outsource all the writing. That could cost a fortune. Plus there are A LOT of "writers" out there who will tell you they can write but don't know a thing about how to write to make money online.

And 2. I think there is a misconception that it takes a long time to make money online. I started with one ebook and made around $40,000 my first year and 6 figures in 2 1/2 years.

The key is finding a target market that wants what you have to offer based on your passion and your skills. Then writing an ebook about it and using that ebook to create both short and long-term income. Right now in a bad economy, it's a lot harder to sell high-end products than it used to be but ebooks are easy-just $27 or $47!

If you want to learn more, I just did a free series-the replays are still up at www.7ebookmistakes.com/series.htm

So why not go to school and start learning how to make money quickly on line so you don't need the part time job that pays what? $8 or $10 an hour? Makes no sense to me.

        Best of luck to you!

I'm not even going to go into detail about debt Student loans

but I'm majoring in Accounting and I do have a few loans under me but I'm hoping I can make a decent income off IM so I can pay some of those loans off

I would get your education. You will have that for the rest of your life. No one knows what the future will bring and you don't have a clue whether or not you'll meet your needs with IM.

I had different background than you, so my path is kinda different. I would skip schooling and devote myself full time to IM.

There are TONS AND TONS of opportunities on the web, in which you don't need to invest in order to profit.

Your time is valuable asset and you can sell it, along side with your services.

And on top of it all. YOU NEED TO THRUST YOURSELF THAT YOU WILL MAKE IT, OTHERWISE IT WON'T HAPPEN. Failure is not an option.

I'm not a big fan of public education. You really don't learn what you need to become a success just textbook standard mumbo jumbo. For example, if you were to seek a marketing degree where would you be at graduation? Ready to go to work and be an employee of some company that could care less about you? (that's if you can find a job).
You could get a much better marketing education right year on this form under the tutelage of some of the experts who have been there and done that and not from some stupid text book. College is how "they" get you in debt for thousands and line the pockets of the Gov and banks.

Get out on the street, try it, learn it from pros, read a few GOOD books from PROVEN successes and don't give up. Edison, Einstein, Gates, Wozniak, none of these guys got a college degree, they didn't need one, they knew what they wanted, they learned from the best they could find and they never gave up.

Go make money online tomorrow, get it right, make it grow, and never look back brother!

Don't knock financial aid - I started my business using those great government backed, low-interest student loans You'd never get a business loan at that rate!

The school route is going to give you a cushion. It sounds like without it, it's do or die, so it'd at least be motivating.

I started in services, always a good option. I'm still in services because I'm good at it and enjoy it. Your biggeset obstacle will probably be finding where you 'fit' within IM. There are alot of options.
