Hi Folks

What is the general concensus to use a pseudo or real name when creating sites for affiliate marketing?

Not quite sure what you mean, but if you are talking about domain name then consider:

If you are wanting to get organic traffic from SEO then a keyword rich domain will help you greatly.

If you are only going to use paid traffic then a pseudo/generic name like "bloko" would be fine, make it easy to remember and stick a facebook like button and twitter retweet on it too so when visitors like it, their friends will get to hear about it too.

      Advantages of using pseudonyms:

      - If you plan to engage in many online business ventures, you dont want to have your name associated with many different products and niches.

      - Many successful business people enjoy privacy. So, if you do not want to be a 'famous' person, then use pseudonyms.

      - Good branding opportunities. Bye using a unique pseudonym name, you can be sure that this name ONLY gets associated with your product throughout the internet.

      - You might hurt your future business projects by having your real name associated with particular products

Use of a pseudonym is only illegal if done for illegal purposes.
