Correction: Google WonderWheel is still alive in the US but you need to turn Google Instant off!

Hi, I've just realized that Google has killed it's "Wonder Wheel" feature. But only in the US.
Other countries that didn't get the Google Instant feature implemented yet (like Canada, UK, Australia for example), still have the wonder wheel in place.
But in the US: nada! Silently disappeared.

And now we see that no one even cares. LOL!

Some people are probably wondering, what's wonder wheel in the first place?

Well, if you are in the US, you should ask "what WAS wonder wheel?" (it's dead now, remember?) The answer is: It was a wonder wheel inside of Google but that doesn't matter anymore. If you still want to know what this mysterious creature was like, here:

And if you are outside the US, go ride the Google Wonder Wheel while you still can. Because as soon as Google Instant gets to your country the wonder wheel will die there too.

The WW is still alive and well in the US.

Simply disable the 'Instant' search and you're back to having the WW at your disposal.

      "Has anyone noticed?"

Yes, there have been other threads here where folks were saying the same thing about the WW. They didn't get it right, either.

Aw! I searched but couldn't find anything. Guess those threads got deleted then?

Ahh! Thanks, that did the trick! With Google Instant off the wonder wheel magically reappears! LOL.
So, maybe/hopefully it's not completely dead yet...

If you are in the US and want to ride the dead horse for the last time (LOL, sorry, couldn't resist), then go install the "Google Global" add-on for Firefox. That allows you to see how people in other countries (or even cities) see a particular search query.

Why does it NOT appear when instant search is on.

    Does anyone understand the logic?
