How hard is it for beginners to join networks such as Linkshare & CJ?

I'm planning to test a niche, maybe through blogger or wordpress selling physical products.

How hard is it for a new site (non-authority, low traffic) to get approved to networks just as Linkshare & CJ?

What should be the plan of building and monetizing such a site? Should i just start with Adsense first?

Each affiliate manager approves their own affiliates with CJ. Some will pretty much auto-approve anyone while others are strict.

The best advice I can give you is to create a clean site with good content that is highly targeted to the offer you are interested in...keep in mind that many affiliate managers at CJ WILL actually look at your site before approving you.

It's actually very easy, just throw up a quick site using wordpress and use some PLR articles on a popular niche such as health or finance/investing and say you get 10,000 hits per month. They'll approve you within hours.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to get approved into the CJ network itself (not sure about Linkshare, I don't use that one). Once you're in the network, the individual merchants can approve or deny you. A lot of them are set to auto-approve though, so you should find something in almost any niche over there.

You mean they actually accept Blogspot/blogger and Wordpress free-hosting sites?

its pretty easy. Even have newly registered domain and site/blog with no traffic. But it should be clean.
