I have almost finished my first info product. It is in the health & fitness genre, and i've mangaged to embed about 43 video tutorials (53 including free bonus product) into an 80 page text ebook. The amount of work, the hair i've lost (oh - and the tears) figuring all this out makes me reluctant to under-price it. And i'm not there yet....

I never wanted to be any more expensive than a book at the book store though - but $22 £15 (i'm from uk) gives you nowhere to go with offers, does it?

For such a product, i'm thinking about $30/$29 (i know this isn't going to attract possible affiliates just yet, but I plan on doing a selection of these guides, which could be bulked up and sold as a collection later. )

$30 Good price for health & fitness product?

  • Online information products are not the same as the physical products you buy at a book store. People who buy them are looking for instant information and instant gratification. They'd generally also expect to pay more for that.

In this case, I'd imagine pushing the product as a video training course, rather than an ebook with videos inside, will increase it's perceived value.

Assuming the quality's there, and you can add 3 small but suitable bonuses, I'd probably look to price this at $67, with an early buyers discount reducing this to $47 for anyone who buys during the first few days. Obviously, this works better if you can get JV partners on board to push the launch.
