First Site - Advice Appriciated

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey everyone, I've read about/been interested in IM for quite some time, but never really made the leap into it. Since I've started college, I've had a TON of free time on my hands to research and start creating things. Here is my first site I threw together last night:
Consider Super Foods

So far there are 10 original articles with the keyword "superfood" (yea I know its competitive), all built on wordpress with the Arras theme. Theres an Adsense unit on the right column, and related Clickbank hoplinks at the end of each article.

I'd be grateful if anyone has any advice or suggestions with this.

A few questions:
-I there anything blatantly obvious that I should add/change?
-Will adding cheap PLR articles from sites like theplrstore.com hurt me? What if I spin them?
-How often should I add fresh content?

Write your OWN fresh content as often as you can. Daily if possible.

I would recommend you go for long tail keywords as your wasting your SEO power by trying to go for superfood as the keywords. What is the point?

Yes keywords that are relevant to your website e.g. healthy option superfoods

Check out The Challenge for a free course. Good place to start, and no need to spend any cash, although they do mention a number of useful tools. One of which is Market Samurai, which I would recommend, but not really needed.

Have a look at Incansoft tools. Some very useful apps that speed up many of your IMing work. Including ArticleBot for submitting articles to many many sites, and RSSBot for submitting RSS feeds to many many sites.

Use RSS Feeds !!!! I started promoting my sites, articles and blogs with them and my sites went through the roof. So, take it easy with them.
For how and why to use RSS Feeds join Free Members Welcome and check out the video tutorials. No cost what-so-ever.

Once you've made a good number of PR0 (sites with no page rank) backlinks, start work on getting backlinks from sites/pages with page rank. And keep on getting the PR0 backlinks as well. Can never have too many. The boys at 30 Day Challenge have an excellent guide on how to acquire backlinks with page rank. It's not part of their course, and I forget at the moment what the link is sorry... I'll post it here if I find it.

One more thing for now, you could make use of web based tools that I have on my site (in the signature). I'm aiming to use them and that site as part of a presentation for entry to a post grad course in AI at the University of Edinburgh An advanced, truly AI version of the article spinning tool, that I am currently working on, will be my proposed project for the masters

start by targeting 3, 4, and even word phrases for next 6 to 8 months
post original content, the more interesting the better
post frequently, and getting it to daily will make a big difference
include those keywords in title/post
do some homework on social bookmark sites for what has become popular in past

use the feature in wordpress that allows you to post other dates too.
then you can sit down one afternoon to write a bunch and have them publish all week
